Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)
Another Classic Western
This 1969 western film was directed by George Roy Hill, and starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. It tells the story of two infamous outlaws who flee to South America after a string of robberies in the American West.
An interesting fact about the film is that it almost didn't happen. The studio initially passed on the project, but it was finally greenlit after a series of rewrites and casting changes. The film went on to become a critical and commercial success, winning four Academy Awards.
Director George Roy Hill's use of freeze frames and sepia-toned images during key scenes added to the film's unique style and helped to create a sense of nostalgia for the Old West. The chemistry between Newman and Redford was undeniable, and their banter and camaraderie added to the film's charm.
A classic western that combines action, humor, and heart. Its iconic performances make it a film to watch for any fan of the genre or cinema history.
Per qualche dollaro in più (1965)
A Western Masterpiece
Sergio Leone's 1965 spaghetti western is a cinematic masterpiece that still holds up today. Starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef, the film is a classic tale of two bounty killers on the hunt for a notorious bandit.
Leone's direction is outstanding, making use of inventive camera angles and extended takes that add depth to the story and heighten the tension. The film's score, composed by Ennio Morricone, is also exceptional, incorporating various musical instruments to create a distinct and unforgettable sound.
Eastwood and Van Cleef deliver some of their best performances, with Eastwood's stoic coolness and Van Cleef's nuanced portrayal of a vengeful bounty hunter adding layers to their characters. The interactions between the two leads are a highlight, showing a unique camaraderie and mutual respect despite their initial rivalry.
For its day, the film's pacing is tight, and the action sequences are exhilarating, making "For a Few Dollars More" a thrilling ride from start to finish. It's a western that perfectly captures the essence of the genre, complete with gunfights, horseback chases, and a climactic showdown.
This a cinematic treasure that any fan of westerns should see. Its stylish direction, brilliant score, and strong performances make it a must-watch, and its influence on the genre is undeniable.

Get Lost In It Again
While there are a few episode that will make you want to give up watch, the overall arc of the characters does pay off. Obvious the ending had a lot of hype, but over all this was a fantastic series.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Whip It, Whip It Good
A fun romp around the globe. A movie like this might have saved Quibi, having that "Cliff Hanger" every 10 minute on this adventurous story. It is truly a interesting film to watch in the form of how second unit and stunt performers are used in making the full dynamic of the film. Just the horse chase alone, any time you don't see Ford's face is second Unit and Stunt performers. While you can easily point out many flaws in this film, as a whole it is still one of the greats.

Bottle Monster (2020)
Very Different Breed of Horror.
Incredibly well done indie film. Yes, you can find flaws in its limited budget of under $200,000,000, but the storytelling and all the points are all there and they hit the marks. I give this film 8 pedipalps up (= 2 thumbs up).
