In His Steps (2013)
One of the Best Christian Films Ever!
I love, love, love this film!
It is low budget, with no "stars", but the script and actors makes it top notch for me.
I think people who scored it low, are uncomfortable with the message, as the message is a challenge for all....
You will definitely be blessed and inspired watching this deep film, something that most movies very rarely delivers. This film can literally change your life for the better.
Heart & Soul (2020)
Heart & Soul is a WONDERFUL series!
I love how this medical TV show adds spirituality in it, showing when people die and their Soul leaves their body (or comes back). Heart & Soul shows a real reverence for the Soul.
It's different from any other medical show I've seen; It truly stands apart from all the other medical shows on TV which all seem pretty much alike....
I look forward to watching season 2--if it comes out (I hope so!)
Mr. Blue Sky (2007)
I Get It, But Still....
I get that we should all accept people of all different ways, but the relationship with Greg and Andra seemed inappropriate and unrealistic.
For one thing, as adults Greg looked like he was 30 and Andra looked barely 18. I know they are much closer in age than that, but it looked creepy seeing them date. Another is in real life, most people would rather date someone who was around their intellectual equal. Greg was a mature teacher, while Andra, although endearing and charming, acted more like a 12 year old. In years to come, I can see Greg becoming weary of not having a mate who was at least his intellectual equal or challenges him intellectually.
The film has really good intentions, but the storyline relationship of Greg and Andra is implausible.
Also, as another reviewer mentioned, why is a teacher (Greg) and a lawyer (Bonnie) still living with their parents? It's laughable seeing them interrupted, making out on the couch, when Greg's dad walks in. Why doesn't Greg have his own place? Lol!
The Young Messiah (2016)
Jesus' Accent
This film has Jesus sounding British! lol! So not only did he not know he's the Messiah, he doesn't know he's not supposed to have a British accent.
A Christmas Princess (2019)
Prince Accent Sounded European
I don't know why so many reviewers insist the Prince had an Aussie accent. It was obvious to me his accent is definitely European.
I liked the film. The prince was charming, and he had chemistry with the chef, although I think she was rude to him.
Near the end, she wanted him to apologize, which the prince did, but he had not done anything wrong; his mother is the one who should have apologized for her behavior toward the chef. So that was odd.
But overall, I enjoyed the film.
God's Not Dead (2014)
One of the Best Films Made
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. God is truly not dead.
The negative comments made here are as stereotypical as some claim this film is. But this film is wonderful, powerful. The acting is superb, and the main character's discussion on God is excellent.
There are many paths to God, so to have a negative storyline about another religious path to God wasn't right. Also, the woman speaking up for animals' right to live and not be slaughtered was spot-on. Life is life; all beings are precious in the eyes of God, and with veganism (not around during Jesus' time, BUT was in the perfect world in the Garden of Eden), there is no reason at all to slaughter and eat animals.
Outside of that, the rest of the film is terrific. Don't let the ratings keep you from watching it.
The World We Make (2019)
Beautiful Film
I really licked this film. It it's very realistic in many parts of the USA, but also showed how love is more powerful than anything....
The cast is terrific and played their parts well.
Also, at the couple's first restaurant date, the guy should have been more focused on his very pretty girlfriend than on what others were thinking about them together.
Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer (2017)
Terrific Movie
Like the other person said, the film doesn't show just one side of the story. One of the best Lifetime movies of all time.
The acting was good and we finally got to see Oscar's bad side.
