What Rhymes with Reason (2023)
A Heartwarming Cinematic Journey: "What Rhymes with Reason"
As a parent, it's a rare delight to find a family-friendly movie that not only entertains but also educates and uplifts. "What Rhymes with Reason" is one such gem that resonated deeply with both my daughter and me. This film tackles mental health gracefully and positively, making it a standout in its genre.
The characters are the heart of this story, each meticulously crafted with layers that unfold beautifully on screen. Their well-defined differences and individual struggles are portrayed with such authenticity that you can't help but root for them. And yet, despite these differences, they discover a collective strength in their faith-a powerful message of unity and support.
The soundtrack is another highlight, not just a background noise but a powerful tool that seamlessly blends with the narrative to enhance the film's emotional depth. It's no surprise that the songs found their way into my Spotify playlist almost immediately, as they continue to evoke the same emotions I felt during the movie.
Visually, the movie is a feast for the eyes. The cinematography captures the essence of the story with every frame, making it a character in its own right. The after-credits section, a valuable educational addition, was particularly enlightening, offering a glimpse into the creative process and the real-life stories that inspired the film. It's a testament to the magic that can be achieved when art is pursued for passion rather than profit.
In a world where cinema often chases after blockbuster thrills, "What Rhymes with Reason" is a refreshing reminder of the power of heartfelt storytelling. Here's to hoping that we see more of such inspiring films in the future.
The Fall of the House of Usher (2023)
Very good show!
I highly recommend this series. Dont get too caught up on the Edgar Alan Poe battle camps. It is a great show with some smart tribute to the great horror genius. I have read the books and I really enjoyed the flavour and the details, this is how you respectfully tribute your heroes, with a great high quality work that creates something new and great, almost excellent. I love to see the same familiar faces again. I think this is the second best series after The Haunting of Hill House( which I love). Perfect timing again for the spooky season. This is agreat show, great acting, good scares, predictible in certain occasions, but is just us...we have seen too much ;).
Shut In (2022)
Good old thriller 👌
Dont miss out.
Very intelligent and well written.
Great acting, not pretending to be overly smart with overcomplicated dialogs or stupid reasoning.
I love that every character is well developed, with short dialogs it can give you all ghe information you need about them, their past, motivations and nature. Dont miss out!
