From Scratch (2022)
Ridiculously Depressing
Do you like to cry? Do you like to feel sad and frustrated? I don't want to give too much of this away but if you're someone that enjoys watching extreme struggles in love, family and health then this is the show for you. This couple goes through absolute hell I found it too excessive and painful to watch. As soon as something good happens it is soon followed up by something gut wrenching. I gave up in the middle of episode 6 and read spoilers online. I'm glad I gave up because it only gets worse. That being said, the acting is wonderful and the scenes in Italy are breathtaking but this a was way too dismal for my liking.
Midsommar (2019)
What in the hell did I just waste my time on?
This movie makes no sense, is a complete waste of time and left me nothing but confused and annoyed. This reminds me of a rejected high school film class project that people tried to convince you was cool but just flat out sucked. This is legitimately one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Suggest this movie to someone you really don't like.
I Am Not Okay with This (2020)
Completely worth watching
This is such a good show and the acting is awesome. I adore Sophia Lillis and the cast is remarkable. It's uncomplicated and just a fun and easy to watch show. It has a hint of Stranger Things which keeps it interesting. I watched the whole series in 1 day and I cannot wait for the next.
The Lion King (2019)
Eh, it was ok.
This movie is visually stunning but the original blows it out of the water. Seth Rogan's voice over was hilarious and James Earl Jones as Mustafa was epic as always but Beyoncé's voice over was just plain awful, just plain cringeworthy. It really ruined every scene that Nahla was in which was very unfortunate.
Girls Trip (2017)
It's a good laugh. Take it for what it is.
Don't over think this movie, it's not trying that hard. If you take it for what it is, you will laugh, a lot. I literally laughed out loud about a dozen times. Tiffany Haddish made the whole movie in my opinion but that's only if you appreciate a raunchy and juvenile sense of humor and if you don't, then don't bother. I've seen this movie on cable about 6x now and I love it each time. It's fun, funny and just trying to make people laugh. It's not looking for a Pulitzer.
