Young Sheldon (2017–2024)

Love this show. Starting over again on Netflix
21 May 2024
Acting is so great. And the show is realistically funny. Like the father telling the kids to "shut up" I think the sister Missy does a great job. Her crying scene in the penultimate episode was wonderful acting. The couldn't have found a better actor to play Sheldon. The thing is all the cast is wonderful in their own right and all have funny lines. Georgie is great as the smart ass older brother. And Annie Potts plays a great grandma. As I said the show distributes the funny lines evenly among the entire cast. I'm watching it straight through again on Netflix. I will miss it when it's gone . But I may watch it straight through again it's that funny.

Familiar dialogue

Billions reformatted. Same writers. Same quote laden dialogue in a way that no one actually talks. It gets old. I'm sick of billions and hesitant on this one. I'll watch because I drove for Uber for 5 years, but not sure how long I can take it.

Meaningless jargon
21 September 2021
After being gone from this until now, the new season (7) seems even more ridiculous with more of the stupid historical, sports, and entertainment references. People don't talk like that. It's just stupid.

Boring.

Acting was bad, especially the kid, but most of all just plain boring. Gotta respect Eastwood at 91 but unfortunately past his prime.
