America the Beautiful (2022)
Enjoyable enough
I only watched this because I heard a sampling of the OST by Joseph Trapanese, who I like quite a bit, and was blown away by the quality of the cinematography. Particularly the mountain shots which puzzled me until I found out they had strapped super-stabilized cameras to jets and flown them through the ranges. The scripting and spoken narration are rather juvenile, and you can skip the 6th episode entirely, but this is still a very solid nature series. If you liked the soundtracks for Tron Uprising or Only the Brave, you'll hear the same types of instruments being used here, and some of the same melody structuring.
Kids Guide to the Internet (1997)
It's that easy to get connected!
Honey, did you know you could die on the internet?
Yahoo, I know what that is!
To get started, you'll need to get started. There was something about fragments or something? You can also download the crappy browser, Netscape Na-a-a-a-a-a-avigator.
Feels Good Man (2020)
Delicious, salty tears
More lefties crying over not being able to create anything funny or interesting. Nothing new. Also features Disney-style refusal to acknowledge any historic wrongdoings by the Chinese Communist Party when the country is brought up.
Toy Story 4 (2019)
I'll stick with the original 3
What the title says, I'm gonna keep my 4K trilogy pack and pretend this movie never happened. The Toy Story Toons are a perfectly fine epilogue, along with Toy Story of Terror and That Time Forgot.
Terminator: Resistance (2019)
Perfectly captures the Future War from Terminator 1 and 2
Bought this game on sale ($19) and greatly enjoyed it. The people at Teyon clearly love the first 2 Terminator films and have learned from their previous game flops. Animations are a bit stiff (for faces and hands) and the texture fidelity isn't the best, but the plasma guns feel so good to shoot.
A Story About My Uncle (2014)
Good game, buy it sometime
Very enjoyable, but a bit short. I think I finished it in about 2 1/2 hours. I can definitely recommend this to anyone, unless they hate platformers. It's got a lot of freedom of navigation, and an adorable companion for 2 of the chapters. There were only a couple places in the ice level where the game forces you to slow down and take one path. Other than that there's many ways to get through each section.
