Fantastic movie
18 April 2018
A great movie in my mind is one that draws you into the characters so much that you feel what they feel in the movie. This does just that. I wanted Rebecca DeMornay dead in this movie, she portrayed her role that well. You feel everything, understand everything and get drawn into the drama. Very nicely portrayed, acted and the movie keeps you in it from beginning to end. Wish more movies kept you on the edge of your seat like this one does for the entire thing. Excellent.

Damn good thriller, edge of your seat stuff

The only thing wrong with this movie is that it was only 90mins long. It should have been longer, great movie. The one thing I wish more was done on was the history of the creatures themselves. Where did they come from, what were they doing, so on and so forth. But the movie is awesome, loved every minute of it.

what a waste, in a way

If there is one thing I cannot stand in/about movies is where the perpetrator is never revealed by the end of the movie. This movie unfortunately did that and it bugged me. You have no background history on the clown either. Being Halloween, you don't even see kids on the street trick or treating, no parties, no Halloween festivities. I would have liked to know who the clown was, what his/her background was leading up to what they did in the movie. The ending also left much to be desired. Ok, it was evil, but where did it come from? I am being generous with a 4 only because I love gore and this movie did not come up short on that at all, probably the best part of it.

Cannot understand the low ratings here

This movie without a doubt is about a 7.5 imo. Good special effects, good plot line, good acting, great reflection of movies like Indiana Jones and other archaeological movies. I enjoyed this movie a lot and did not stop it to miss much. Then again, to each his own. I liked this movie a lot.

Challenges moral fiber
28 October 2017
I would have given a 6 1/2 on this movie if it was available. Very slow moving, sometimes very hard to get past the accent on Wilf, the main character. But the movie is a challenge on moral fiber and a lesson on trying to see/consider other options in life when one feels pushed into a corner with the selfish part screaming out. There are other ways. Set in 1922, it does show how decisions we make and their consequences will eventually find us and live with us in the end. The ending makes a lot of sense in this movie, but it takes a long time to get there. Enjoyable, but would not be at the top of my list if I knew more about it.

very entertaining suspense / thriller
28 October 2017
This movie was very entertaining. It started off a bit slow, but got right into the meat and potatoes within 20mins or so. I enjoyed the inner demons challenge that she faced throughout the movie and it added a bit of comic relief at times. The one gory part was very cool, I just wish there had been more of them. As a Stephen King thriller, it captured the moment and made the movie gripping from beginning to end. I definitely enjoyed this one, as I have most King thrillers in movies. Recommended watching.

Not totally satisfied with this one
28 October 2017
I cannot say I was totally satisfied with this one, but there are a couple reasons for it. First, they never tell you or go into great length to tell you anything about the creeper's origins, reasons for eating or why he even exists. The second is that they did not completely close off the story, in my opinion. I also did not find it as exciting as previous creeper movies, my own perspective on that one. Enjoyable, yes, but I felt as though they could have done more on this one. If there is another creeper movie in the future, I hope it is better than part 3. Left much to be desired for me.

Better Watch Out (II) (2016)

great suspense / mystery / horror movie
25 October 2017
This movie for me was great. Wonderful suspense, great thriller, kept me guessing until the end. Many of the trickery scenes throughout the movie reminded me of home alone but on the gory side. I was very disappointed with the boyfriend was hit with the paint can and they did not show his head completely demolished, I like that kind of stuff in movies. But this movie kept me entertained throughout the entire movie. Though for me, the ending was a bit predictable, but enjoyable nonetheless. I don't know if there is a part 2 on the way, but I would sure enjoy watching it. Must see movie, at least in my opinion.

Enjoyable movie for sci fi/thriller fans
24 October 2017
This movie was very enjoyable, though I would have liked to have seen more planetary damage, just love that kind of stuff in movies. Overall it was fun, entertaining and the special effects were brilliant. I think Hollywood could have done a better job on the earth gets ruined part, but what they did do was good. The brother conflict in the movie is a theme seen before in others, but they played it out well. Would definitely recommend this movie for science fiction fans.
