Romantic Road (2017)

A Gem

This movie is a really a hidden gem. This movie tells you a key truth - you have finite time on this earth, so do the things that you always have dreamt of instead of geting worried by challenges and never doing it.

Apart from the journey, this movie also show a glimpse of India just before mobiles were about to take over everyone's lives. This type of travel is really now what seep you into the local environment and tell you how life in a country is. In today's world of Instagram and influencers toting the most exotic places with just the "shot", tell nothing about reality or culture of that place. This movie shows a side which social media will never show. The greys go through the real India in a Rolls Royce, which is really attached to colonialism but are surprised by the warmth they receive b the locals. This is true even to this day when you go to the countryside of any country. A very well made movie and I'm surprised Sharon stone was the producer.

Man what a let down, after movies like in-brugges and the watchman I thought the 2 actors are going to deliver laugh riot. The movie barely had humour but instead was a dullard's riot. The movie is really for maybe people who work in the film line or some deadpan folks. They can marvel at the gorgeous cinematography, editing and depressing mood. For the rest of regular folks this is 2.5 hours wasted, worse still my date probably is not gonna come back after I told her this is probably the best movie of the year after seeing the ratings on different platforms. I'm more surprised that people are giving such high ratings for this dullass paradiso movie.

The Northman (2022)

viking village feud

This is at best a village feud in some viking past. Just a bunch of villagers running around in the middle of nowhere and the northman lays the evil one to rest. Hardly any grandeur or character development. The only good part I like where they mixed some viking fantasy sequences. Rest was as if watching a filler episode on the the vikings series. There is a good story developing in the movie initially. I really thought i'm going to be in an epic viking revenge tale. Alas it turned out into some rookie level viking wannabes trying to act like strongmen and eventually getting slayed by a well built viking.

Wth were the last 2 episodes. Man I hope they make it up in the next ones... Otherwise this show is goin down. Taking lalo all the way to Germany n then some random scenes of an ad being shot...Kim also losing her edge.

Ted Lasso: Beard After Hours (2021) Season 2, Episode 9

Incredible

Initially I didn't like it but over time this episode grows on you. Quite an incredible ending and the music was perfect.
