The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy (2023)
Ultra decadent nonsense
Where someone who acts just a little reluctant goes on vacation to places only affordable for the very rich and decides, oh wonder, he likes it. What a surprise.
But the reluctance is totally unbelievable: people with serious fear of heights don't cross jungle bridges for instance. At one moment he even absurdly claims to not like water, oh please, come on, who are they trying to fool. Well, Apple probably, as they must have spent a fortune. All the places of course are nice and quiet, which is a joke for places like Venice.
So a man who acts like he does't like what he is doing gets to travel like a multi millionaire. It is as annoying as it sounds. Tourisme is a major ecological disaster. Shows like this contribute to that.
Hacks: There Will Be Blood (2022)
Dissapointing
After a solid first season this first episode of the new season starts rather plain and annoying. The characters seem to be more unbelievable, dumb and annoying and that seems to be the main comedic procedé here. Silly, juvenile and annoying, just like any other main stream sitcom.
The Kayla character for instance is just too stupid and dumb to be just a little believable. Ava's behaviour is just as stupid really. Such a shame.
Let me repeat myself:

Servant: Rain (2019)
Over the top
This is the episode were my suspension of disbelieve finally flew out of the window. I can't believe that people, even if they are directed by M. Night Shyamalan, don't immediately throw someone out of the house who puts their baby on the floor en sleeps in the crib himself. It is just too absurdI stillwonder were it is heading, but I don't believe I have the patience to keep watching too many episodes like this.
I am also a bit scared that it will just go on and on without any clear answers, more or less the same thing that made me stop watching Lost some time ago, a decision I have never come to regret.
Billions: No Direction Home (2021)
Ridiculous and unbelievable
Let it stop, it's been enough. Every character has become cartoon-like and totally preposterous.
