El día de la unión (2018)
A moving and touching tribute.
A very well portrayed tragedy which still lingers within the hearts of Mexican people, from 1985 and 2017 earthquakes. A film which really touches and moves the feelings transmitting the pain, bravery and hope of all those people who lived them.
Nowadays people, in this case critics, are so cynical. Saying that the movie is too dramatic and predictable. Wake up people. This was a real tragedy. I can barely imagine all the s7ffering and drama people who survived and witnessed it felt. We obviously knnow what happened, but the movie delivers great performances from documented information. Besides it has one of the best disaster sequence ever made in Mexico. Don't be so superficial when you see and review a film. Live it.
The Wolfman (2010)
A True Tribute. A Classic Has Returned.
This is indeed a fine real tribute to the original classic. I actually don't get why there are people who compares this classic wolf man monster to the werewolves we see in other movies. It is supposed to be a man with wolf features, an relentless aggressive killing beast, but still a very smart one which actually plans and knows despite its instincts. It's a dark fun ride. A true classic back to life, and another addition to the October movie list.
