Behroop (2023)
Lacklustre
This drama has spread across so many episodes with a storyline only initially convincing.
Each of this shows episodes storyline and dialogue do not spread beyond the point of 5 minutes with most of the 30 minutes dragging with music and rumination flashes of the past.
Even with a mega episode nothing much was covered in the 2 episode slot.
This show goes against logic and the obvious is commonly kept hidden whilst the bad proceed to pose harm there is no sense of logic or mitigation steps to overcome evil.
This show lacks common sense whilst missing originality and fails to intrigue the audience.
Father Knows Best: The Spelling Bee (1957)
A fantastic yet simple episode
This episode goes to show you do not need the most complex idea to achieve a great episode.
In this episode Kathy is wholesome, genuine and admirable. She goes out of her way to put another individual first without any input.
At the end Jim and Margaret look and expressions says it all, you can see how proud they were of her.
This episode really moved me and now stands as one of my most favourite.
The message projected in this episode still echos as important and very relevant to this day, showing compassion, understanding, respect and humility towards one another.
Definitely this episode feels like a 10/10.
Dr. Kildare: Lullaby for an Indian Summer (1965)
Extremely Moving and Enticing Episode
Going into this episode having read the subplot I was expecting some moving moment
However, the episode is filled with touching and tear-jerking moments which captures the viewers attention from start to finish.
The importance of life and the values it represents are echoed throughout the episode.
It's rather refreshing to see Robert Young play such a different role from his usual full of life and real-life situation free Jim Anderson and to see Marcus Welby at the end of the doctor-patient consultation for the diagnosis.
The acting by all cast members including the usual and guest stars Richard Chamberlain, Raymond Massey, Robert Young and Margaret Leighton was phenomenal and really made the story feel touching and realistic from the tone of speech, behaviour, mannerism and facial expressions.
A highly recommended episode of the show.
Marcus Welby, M.D.: The Foal (1969)
Exceptional Episode
An excellent episode which highlights, focuses on, acts as a means for providing and offering hope to children with learning disabilities.
This episode not only enriches the understanding of learning disabilities such as autism individuals may have but focuses also on ensuring that crucial early intervention takes place so the child is provided with the best possible start to life.
Whilst the method used is perhaps not fully agreeable the message of hope, importance of life and the offering of much needed education of learning disabilities. As treatable and manageable as opposed to being viewed as terminal illnesses.
Window on Main Street (1961)
Unique and Meticulous Show
A unique show for its time and for today viewers which creatively crafts plots with a focus on the residents of Millsburg.
Each episode provides a refreshing take on a moral solution of how everyday and unique human issues are tackled and resolved.
With the people of Millsburg being treated as a whole as opposed to just their symptoms.
Robert Young once again marvellously plays his character, as an author who returns to Millsburg to write about the people of Millsburg and events surrounding them.
Unfortunately cut short during its run with a lot of potentials to grow and transpire into a successful series.
