Appalling.

This film sounded great but...the acing was truly cringeworthy, there are so many school boy/girl howlers that I don't know where to start - prostitutes were not called sex workers in the late 70s, early 80s, and the dance music in the first scene, 1978, was more 90s or 2000s. My advice - don't. Just don't.

I thought I'd hate it...I didn't!

Sunday afternoon, glass of wine...what film? Found this on Netflix, expected to hate it, found myself laughing out loud then crying, and willing Iceland to win, it was a lovely film, really enjoyed it, not serious and a great afternoon watch. Got a bit of a crush on Lemtov...

What a stinker!

Unless I am missing something, I have no idea why this film has a 5.7 rating, it's more like 0.7 and that's generous. Was it bad in an ironic style? 1 dimensional characters, awful dialogue and some moments that were just cringeworthy and offensive. I cannot believe I watched it all the way through, it must be the Covid effect...anything as long as it's not the daily briefing! DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS!!!

I couldn't give it no stars, cos believe me, that is all it merits...

What a crock!! Do not waste your time on it, the best actors are the roaches. No plot, no ending, just a load of twaddle (as that eminent film critic, my dad, would say) so do something better with 90 minutes, such as watching paint dry.

Hyped up load of twaddle

Best thing about this film is the dog. I was really looking forward to watching it, but it's just awful, less horror, more comedy, ridiculous plot - I use that word loosely - and not at all engaging. Story could have been done in an hour, I have seen better in the Hammer House of Horror series from the 70s! Absolute rubbish glad I didn't pay to see it!

Another Jennifer Lynch twist!

This is a really excellent film, a real psychological horror, no gore but you get the idea and have to use your imagination, and the performances are superb...the twist is brilliant, totally caught me off guard, jaw to the floor! But then again, I have watched Surveillance so should have expected something...if you haven't do!
