Wonder Woman (2017)

The first triumph for DC in years, but it still has flaws.

DC have not been doing well at all in recent years. Sure, in 2017 we got The Lego Batman Movie and this. But DC still finds a way to screw everything up (if Justice League wasn't enough to prove that for you then I don't know what will). Wonder Woman is certainly good, but it is no where near close to a cinematic masterpiece like all critics are saying (92% on Rotten Tomatoes is absolute tripe). The story as far as I'm aware is the same as in the comics so there's nothing to really say other than: Diana lives in sealed off Greek land, WW1 American spy crashes there and Diana saves him, the man and Diana go to try and stop WW1 and kill ''Ares'' the God of war (according to Diana). Now, I've seen some badass slow motion shiz from Zack Snyder, but this movie kicks the badassery up to whole new level. The action scenes aren't really the main focus until the middle of the movie and whilst that's a little disappointing when it's considered an action movie, at least we have time for the movie to give us Diana's backstory as well as some exposition. This surprised me at first because I never would've expected a modern DC film to do this after having many previous movies suck hard due to too much action and not enough time to establish a cohesive story with no plot holes (Suicide Squad). With the action not being the main focus until later on in the movie we get a decent story for once and that is such a breath of fresh air for modern DC movies. And when the action kicks in, it kicks IN. The action scenes are great and make me want to go to Zack Snyder's School of Badassery because god damn are these fight scenes good. The movie does have a habit of touching on a few things that would make OK side plots, but they just either forget about them or don't use them to their full extent. The TotallyNotSteveRogers guy who acts as the second main character assembles a team to help infiltrate a German base. These members are all interesting with Charlie being my favourite, but there are a lot of things about them that weren't touched on later in the film like Charlie seeing ghosts and is haunted by them in his sleep so he can't shoot his gun anymore. This would've made an EXCELLENT side plot if they actually gave a shite about it. As soon as it's talked about it's only referenced one more time and that's like nearly ten minutes later, then it's completely forgotten about. Then there are also a few things that made me go ''WTF'' like later on in the movie where Diana puts on a blue dress to disguise herself and it looks like she's wearing nothing underneath it, but then 5 minutes later she's on a horse and takes it off while riding it (SOMEHOW) and reveals that she's been wearing her heavy ass armour the entire time underneath it. Things like that don't really affect my overall enjoyment of the movie, but just tick me off when rewatching it. The acting is good (Gal Gadot was just born for being the actor of Wonder Woman/Diana) and the special effects, for as little as they are used, are OK and the plot is decent. All of these features give the movie a 7/10 which is not a bad score, I just wish the movie was better. The amount of critical praise it's getting is just as baffling as the new IT remakes praise, because neither are perfect. Far from, actually. This isn't the movie of the century and it isn't perfect, but it's a good movie that you can just enjoy without reading to much into it. It's just entertainment, that's all a movie should be. Not saying movies with deeper meanings and complex plots aren't good, hell they rank as some of my favourite movies of all time, but if a movie is simple like Wonder Woman, then I'm fine with it. Especially if it tells me that DC released two good movies in a row in one year. I would recommend Wonder Woman if you're willing to give DC another chance.

Black Butler: Book of Murder (2014)

Black Butler's first movie is mysterious, funny, and mindbogglingly clever!

While not as good as Book Of Circus, Book Of Murder is nearly just as good. The story takes place some time after Book Of Circus' ending. Sebastian and Ciel set up a party at Phantomhive manor with many higher nobles as well as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. At night however, one of the guests is murdered, and eventually the death count starts to climb, so it's up to Ciel and the guests to find out who the murderer is. Sebastian also has a big role in the story but I won't reveal that in this review. The animation in Book Of Circus and Book Of Murder are MAJOR improvements over seasons 1 and 2. Season 1 looked great for 2008 and season 2 looked like some work could be done on it, but looked fine. But all the things in the ''Book Of'' series of manga adaptions all look spectacular. The animation contains (slightly) more frames, the colours are perfect, the lighting isn't too low or over the top, in general, the animation is excellent. The voice acting is still great in English and Japanese but as I've said in every Black Butler review now, the English dub is the best way to watch the show. It still delivers on comedy very well, and the explanations of the murders are extremely clever. I was surprised at how much I was shocked during this movie. There were many scenes where I was legitimately shocked at what happened. The ending is good and perfectly wraps the movie up. Overall, absolutely excellent movie. The people behind Black Butler really want to make up for season 2, and they deliver, my God do they deliver. Do yourself a favour and go watch this movie, just be sure to watch Book Of Circus first.

Black Butler: Book of Circus (2014)

An absolute masterpiece and the best thing to come out of Black Butler so far.

After season 2 disappointed a lot of people (despite it being just fine in my opinion), everyone thought Black Butler was dead. No one thought the show could return from such a disappointing season. But then something happened, Book Of Circus happened. This mini series (of 10 episodes) has a standard Black Butler plot that you would probably see in the first season. A travelling circus troupe has arrived in London and reports of kidnapped children have been happening ever since they arrived. So the queen sends Ciel and Sebastian over to investigate and find the lost children and return them home to their families. The show seems to take place somewhere after the reaper arc in season 1 which makes sense as that's how the order of the arcs happened in the manga. The series is a 10 episode long story arc with not a single filler episode and after Black Butler 2 all I can say is, THANK GOD. Sebastian and Ciel are still as likable as ever, Ciel is becoming more of an adorable dork and Sebastian's still as kickass as usual, but the antagonists of the series, the circus troupe, are very interesting and likable. Joker, Dagger, Doll, Beast, Peter, Wendy, Jumbo, and the rest all have tragic backstories as they all treat each other as family and had a painful time getting around when they were younger until the main antagonist adopts them and takes them in. You really have to watch it for yourself to see what I'm talking about, as this series actually put me close to tears. Despite it being disguised as a Sebastian and Ciel adventure in a travelling circus, it pulls at your heart strings when you aren't expecting. You wouldn't think you would care so much for the antagonists until you actually watch how they're lives have been via the flashbacks. The soundtrack as well is the best anime soundtrack I've ever heard. Black Butler has always been ace with it's soundtrack, especially during the openings and credits, but Book Of Circus just takes Black Butler 1 and 2's soundtracks and absolutely crushes them. The opening song, Enamel, is the best anime opening I've ever heard other than Shinzou Wa Sasageyo from Attack On Titan. The whole soundtrack is excellent. I really can't review this season properly because, you actually have to see it for yourself. It's a work of art. It takes our beloved Sebastian and Ciel and puts them in what's possibly their greatest adventure yet. If you don't believe this show will put you to tears then I dare you to watch it. Even if you don't cry, it's still absolutely beautiful, and another reason why Black Butler is my favourite anime of all time.

Black Butler II (2010–2011)

Not as great as the first season, but still good.

Black Butler season 1 was met with a lot of praise and people wanted more. So in 2010, Black Butler's second season was released with much anticipation. After it ended a lot of people had mixed opinions on it. Many loved it, and some others hated it, and some people are somewhere in the middle. The shows plot happens a little over a year after the last season concluded and we are given two new antagonists, Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus. Claude is a demon butler like Sebastian, but Alois is very different to Ciel. Unlike Ciel who despite being arrogant still cares about others like Elizabeth and the servants and fights for the good of England, Alois is sadistic and cruel and oddly cheerful all the time. As it turns out at the end of the first season, Sebastian never actually took Ciel's soul but instead Claude has stolen it but hasn't devoured it yet. Ciel suffers from memory loss and can't seem to remember what happened in season 1, like, ANYTHING that happened in season 1. So it's up to Sebastian to retrieve Ciel's soul so he can devour it himself after Ciel had completed the contract between him and Sebastian. This season doesn't have as many great moments as season 1, but still has it's fair share of plot twists and shocking moments. Alois' backstory is tragic, and the twist at the end is shocking but feels a little dumb (but damn is it a good twist!). This season has a PAINFUL amount of filler episodes for such a short season. It has 12 EPISODES. 12. That's pitiful because it's not even technically counted as a mini-series! The filler episodes are still fun to watch but because there are so many of them I'm just waiting until the story starts again. Regardless, despite the filler, this season is still good. It has the same voice cast in Japanese and in English (English is the best way to watch Black Butler) and the new voice actors for Alois and Claude are...decent. Claude is good but Alois' voice straight up annoys me. But this season is still passable. It's definitely the weakest of all the Black Butler's but it still does a good job at shocking and entertaining the audience. Not a must watch as it's not really considered canon as it isn't based off the manga in any way, but definitely a passable and decent season. A shame that everything else from the franchise is so much better though.

Black Butler (2008–2011)

A great first season to my favourite anime.

Black Butler is my favourite anime for a reason. It blends dark humour in with dark plots with the same anime charm that Fairy Tail and many others have. It's also the only anime I've found that has a dub that's better than the original. It's the best anime dub I've ever heard, and since the show is set in late 19th century England, British sounding voice actors fit even more. The accents are exaggerated and are made to be extra posh, but they never ever annoy me. The plot is straight forward, young Ciel Phantomhive summons a demon to save himself from the torture he was being put through. Ciel names the demon Sebastian and asks him to take on the form of a butler to help him as he is now the owner of the Phantomhive manor, previously belonging to his murdered parents. Ciel makes a deal with Sebastian stating that when he finds the killer of his parents, Sebastian can have his soul. Together they police England's criminal underworld and dispose of anything the Queen tells them to dispose of. All the main characters are likable and interesting and are well developed. Ciel is my favourite character. He is arrogant and is aware of it and is very pessimistic, but he has a reason for his sadness (his parents murder) and we get plenty of flashbacks revealing his backstory. He also has some of the funniest lines in the show. Sebastian comes close to being my favourite, however I just like Ciel a little more. Sebastian just doesn't give a single damn about the current situation most of the time and is an absolute bad ass. The two work perfectly with each other. The story arcs are some of the best I've ever seen in any form of media and there are no plot holes. Even the FILLER episodes are enjoyable because I just love watching what life is like in the Phantomhive household with Sebastian, Ciel, and the servants. The all have great personalities that bounce off of each other perfectly. And, without spoiling anything, the ending is incredible. This season blew a lot of people away. So many people were blown away in fact, that they've turned it into a full on franchise. Releasing constant chapters of the manga every year, a second season, and 3 manga adaptions that are absolutely spectacular. Black Butler has a consistent good quality throughout season one, and I'm glad that they have that consistency. Check this season out and then watch the second one and the manga adaptions. It's honestly such and underrated and overlooked anime and despite the giant fan-base, most anime watchers aren't aware of it's existence or it's brilliance. Which is understandable as there are tons of great anime out there that came out at around the same time as Black Butler like Fairy Tail, Attack On Titan, Death Note and so much more. But this one definitely stands out from the rest in my opinion. Absolutely amazing anime.

Milo Murphy's Law (2016–2019)

Criminally overlooked and underrated follow up to Phineas And Ferb.

Hell, in my opinion, this is BETTER than Phineas and Ferb. Even though I still love Phineas And Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law is a far superior show with more jokes, interesting plots, a few clichés that aren't that bad to be honest, and TONS of Phineas And Ferb references and jokes (Not even counting the recent crossover). The story stars Milo Murphy, a descendant from the man whom Murphy's law (the law that states that anything that can go wrong will) is named after, navigating through his normal life and school life as Murphy's law causes pure chaos to happen around him and everyone around him. His two friends, Melissa and Zack, also have to navigate through the utter chaos that happens around Milo whilst simultaneously hanging out with him and looking out for him. Each character in the show is full of life and personality and general likability. I love Milo's care-free and can-do attitude whilst everything goes wrong behind him. He seems to have something to help stop the calamity that happens at all times so he doesn't show much concern when something awful happens. He sees everything as a fun adventure and that's why he's the only main character I've liked more than the others in any form of media for a LONG time. Zack is slightly cowardly but likes hanging around Milo, and Melissa is very supportive of Milo and Zack and also has her share of funny lines. Not only does the show reference and sometimes even make fun of Phineas And Ferb but it's also set in the same universe, allowing the recent Phineas And Ferb crossover to actually be a logical thing to happen unlike most crossovers. The shows jokes come from either clever word play, cutaway jokes that Family Guy WISHES it could have, making fun of Phineas And Ferb, ridiculous misunderstandings, slapstick (which isn't used as much as the shows predecessor), and the constant foiling of the plans set up by these two guys who own a Pistachio selling business, who basically act as butt monkey characters who never really are actually hurt but rather just have their missions ruined, so they aren't really sent through a living hell but rather a slight misfortune which is something that Spongebob should take note of. Overall, really good show. It takes Murphy's law and turns it into an entertaining cartoon that has sort of put Disney XD back on the map after Gravity Falls and Wander Over Yonder ended (not counting how Star vs. the Forces Of Evil has turned from a good show into an amazing one in the span of 2 years). The characters are likable, the jokes constantly punch, and it's just in general a very enjoyable show. Hope it goes just as long, if not longer than Phineas And Ferb, and since they can do anything with the Murphy's law concept, that means it won't get as stale as Phineas And Ferb after 4 seasons. Rock on Dan and Jeff!

The Emoji Movie (2017)

A cinematic masterpiece that changed my life forever...

Many people do not see the brilliance in The Emoji Movie (2016). Many say that it's unbearable, the characters are stupid, and the plot is cliché. However, many people are just deciding that the movie is bad because it is a cinematic film about Emojis. They haven't actually seen this film. I have seen it. Spent my college money on it. And it is the best film in cinematic history. This film changed my life forever, and it's brilliance is on par with some of the greatest movies of all time like Suicide Squad, or Kangaroo Jack. I will not spoil a single thing about this magnificent movie's existence. But I will tell you that after watching the movie, you will never be the same person again. I finally reached tranquillity and became the happiest being in the whole multi-cosmos because of it. It opened my eyes and made me realise, why are we puny things sitting in our chairs, wasting our lives away, playing Roblox, writing satirical reviews on IMDb about garbage movies, when we can get out of bed in the morning, crack a smile, and say, ''I want to make a movie about Emojis.'' Our puny minds are not capable of developing or putting that thought into action. This proves that The Emoji Movie is a gift from the Gods. A sign that, even in the deepest of hells, there is hope, there is light. I pray to Gene and Hi-5 every night and sleep with my Gene bodypillow. I have an Emoji fidget spinner. I am happy. I am one with the Gods. All hail The Emoji Movie. All hail SONY. Thank you Gene, lord and saviour.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Spidey's back and he's doing pretty good!

After re-watching Spider-Man 2 after 4 years I realised that it was actually pretty good and that it was Spider-Man 3 that got me confused and made me think that both of them sucked so going in to watching this I really hoped Marvel didn't bastardise Spidey again like they did with The Amazing Spider-Man movies. And, it's pretty great! It feels more like a cartoon so it really fits well with Spider-Man's character, Tom Holland as Peter Parker is incredible, and the movie is extremely funny. Tony Stark (Iron-Man) as Spidey's, sort of, mentor is great. I've always liked Robert Downey Jr as Iron-Man so him teaching SPIDER-MAN of all people is just, just...AMAZING! Peter Parker's friend, Ned, is the best comic relief character in any movie to date because he's ACTUALLY FUNNY. I was a little disappointed after watching because I thought it would live up to the 9.2/10 Rotten Tomatoes gave it, but after re-watching it, hot damn, this movie is great and you should watch it now.

DC Super Hero Girls (2015–2018)

A girl pandering DC show with a little bit of charm.

DC haven't been doing well lately. Everything they made in 2016 was below average, and everything in 2017 (except for The Lego Batman Movie and Wonder Woman) that they've made or are making don't really interest me too much. This show is for some reason ''Decent enough'' as in, the new world they've made for the girls is sort of interesting and I guess it's kinda fun to see what happens in their everyday school life? I mean, there's still low brow humour but I guess I can't complain because everyone does it in kids shows nowadays but for Christs sake kids are also treated to shows like Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces Of Evil, Steven Universe, and The Loud House so why does no one care about kids animation? Just put effort into your work is what I'm saying. Other than the plot, there's not much left to be honest. The voice acting is good (Tara Strong as Harley Quinn is a great example), the animation isn't the worst flash animation I've ever seen, the intro song is pretty good, the characters are likable and that's pretty much it. It's not the worst thing DC's made but definitely one of the weakest. Little girls will love this. My cousins like it. So there is SOME appeal. My main criticisms with the show is mainly the lack of adult appeal if adults are watching this with their kids, the animation is fine and lazy at the same time, and one that is pretty much my only pet peeve with the show because I'm a DC fanboy is Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy becoming heroes. Harley is a school prankster in this one and her craziness which usually adds to her charm in most DC animation is now over the top to the point where I want her to shut up, and Poison Ivy hasn't done anything to become a hero, she's just, THERE. I don't know, just a fanboy problem. This show if fine. It's average. Kids will eat this up while I sit here waiting for Justice League to come out so I can see if it's good.

DuckTales (2017–2021)

Faithful to the original, clever, and funny.

Even though I've only seen 10 episodes of the original series, I really enjoyed watching them. So when watching this reboot I did have high expectations unlike everyone else, and I was also afraid that it might suck badly because most reboots in recent years have been borderline trash. This reboot is not trash, not even close. It stays faithful to the original series, has great writing, and the jokes constantly hit. I've seen a few people complain about the art style and honestly, it's actually really good and fits well with the new comic book style the series is taking. The voice acting is better than the original (although Alan Young as Scrooge in the original is still brilliant) and I love David Tennant as Scrooge. He fits the character so well and does such a great job. Even though we only have two episodes so far, they are two episodes that I adored and I'm pretty sure fans of the original series will love this just as much, if not more than the original. The animation is gorgeous as well. It isn't choppy and is actually really fluid and the original Pac-Man shaped black eyes for the pupils are a very nice touch. Overall, this is a great reboot and you should watch it right now. Great job all around, can't wait for new episodes!

War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)

Beautiful and sometimes epic, this movie delivers.

Not huge spoilers are ahead but still, SPOILERS:

Probably one of the best conclusions to a film trilogy I've ever seen. Not only is it the best of all the POTA movies (in my opinion) it's also beautiful, epic and really shows us the struggle of the apes as they are slaughtered one by one by humans. It also shows Caesars struggle as he wants peace but the humans refuse, and how each battle slowly start becoming more and more like his brother, Koba. There are also plenty of moments in this movie where I almost shed a tear. The relationships, the death and the character motivations. The people behind these films really know what they're doing and are able to establish a strong relationship between characters pretty much instantly. And even though the relationship between girl and the gorilla seemed a bit rushed, it was still powerful and showed that these characters act like normal people (stupid, me saying that, considering the fact we are talking about intelligent apes). This trilogy started strong and finished strong, and I would highly recommend it.

Despicable Me 3 (2017)

Everything good and bad about the series mixed together into an OK movie that wishes it could be as good as the first.

Even though I hate Illumination, I will say this: Despicable Me 1 and 2 are good movies. The first one was pretty good even though it had some continuity errors and the second one was nothing great but just a bit of fun. Both movies are pretty funny though, and while the movie is funny sometimes (not counting the minions due to 2015 destroying them in my eyes) it just feels like the entire movie was wasted potential. But we all knew it was doomed from the start when they introduced Gru's brother, Dru. Adding new characters on to TV shows and movies basically shows that you're out of ideas and are only making it because you need more cash to fill your ocean of money. The girls are still uninteresting except for Agnes, being cute and charming like in the first two, Gru is still the same as ever, Lucy is still a good character and I'm glad to see they kept the Anti Villains League from the last movie. But there is still a bit of low brow humour like the Minions making fun of a statue of Gru because of the boobs on it (although that one did make all the adults that were in the cinema with me laugh out loud and I chuckled a bit, but that was it) and there are plenty of moments in the movie that made me scream what the **** in my head just like the last two movies. So in general it's an OK movie but don't expect anything of spectacular quality.

Cars 3 (2017)

Underwhelming disappointment.

Let me just say this, I am NOT a huge fan of the sentient vehicle series. Cars 1 was fine, Cars 2 was borderline terrible, Planes was boring and Planes 2 was god awful. And while this movie is better than both Planes movies and Cars 2 to some extent, it still fails on many levels. I won't spoil anything but lets just say that even though it isn't boring, it is still a lousy movie and doesn't deserve the 7.2 out of 10 IMDb has given it. It didn't improve much over Cars 2. This was simply a waste of Pixar's time and money. I would've been OK with it if it was DisneyToon making it (they're the people responsible for Planes 1 and 2) because then I would have no reason to see it. But since Pixar made it I thought it would be something of decent quality. However it fails on many levels and I would not recommend it at all. If you like the sentient vehicle movie series regardless of quality then fine, see it. But be prepared for a movie that has no saving grace other than the fact that the animation is good. The animation is what earned this movie 4 stars in my book. That's the only thing good about it.

Invader ZIM (2001–2006)

The best Nickelodeon show.

I love this show, a lot. It's unlike ANYTHING I've ever seen on Nickelodeon. We've had some good shows on Nickelodeon over the years like My Life As A Teenage Robot, Avatar, Hey Arnold, etc. But I have never seen a show from Nickelodeon that has become a huge cult classic. This show is deliciously dark for a Nickelodeon show. And some of the scenes from this show still shock me to this day because they seem like things that wouldn't get past the censors. The show is also really funny. I've always liked Jhonen Vasquez's twisted sense of humour. And it works really well here. Main highlights from the show are: ZIM yelling ''Your lying!'' over and over, GIR saying things that are so random that it comes across as cute and funny, the dark settings, Bloody GIR being hidden in different frames throughout the show, there are so many highlights here I can't even say all of them, you really have to watch it yourself to understand what I'm talking about. But still, I enjoy this show. And that enjoyment is mainly made out of me laughing and being disturbed by this show. Make no mistake, it's the darkest Nickelodeon show ever created as well as the most disturbing. But there is plenty of humour in the show to balance out the darkness. Great show all round. Not the best cartoon of all time, but definitely Nickelodeon's best.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

The best Star Wars movie out of the lot and a great prequel as well.

As someone who's been a fan of Star Wars for a while, I have a lot of personal bias towards this movie.

This movie is great. The best Star Wars movie so far. Do I need to explain anything else? It's STAR WARS! All of the movies, unless your talking about the first two prequels, are great! This one is that special kind of movie that releases your inner fan gender. It explains how the Rebel's stole the Death Star plans really well and ties in with A New Hope perfectly, the special effects look great, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO is great (not to mention he's the funniest part in the entire film), and the Darth Vader scene at the end. MY GOD the Darth Vader scene at the end. It's incredible. You really have to watch this movie for yourself to see how great it is. Overall, best Star Wars movie EVER...until The Last Jedi comes out. I expect that will be good as well.

The Fate of the Furious (2017)

Insanely entertaining!

I'm a huge fan of the series, so I may sound a little biased here:

This is my third movie in the Fast And Furious franchise. Fast And Furious 7 is still the best one, but damn this one comes close. I don't think it deserves the 5/10 Metacritic gave it. It's not a bad movie. Just like all the FAF movies, this movie is insane, funny, and sometimes just so friggin' dumb that it turns into one of the most enjoyable movies I've ever watched. It has everything you love about the series; explosions, high speed chases, good plot, decent acting, and really good action scenes. The drama was there too and even though I was wrapped up in it the drama sometimes came off as a little ridiculous, and that comes from someone who watches Rick and Morty every Friday. And the return of Deckard Shaw is great. I really like Jason Statham and him being the main villain in FAF 7 was great. Now Deckard is back in this movie and kicks even more ass than he did last time. So overall, definitely would recommend to fans of the series. If you haven't watched a single one of the movies before then you won't find much here. This is a film which, I believe, can only be enjoyed by fans of the series. Great film though, but that's just my opinion.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Filled with stupid things which really lower the quality.

I am a big Spider-Man fan. I've liked the character and the multiple different forms of media he's been in for years (except Spider-Man 2 and 3). But, this movie is utter garbage. The acting was OK I guess but the whole movie was such a bloody drag that it had me feeling slightly sick inside. It's worse than Spider-Man 2 and 3 and I absolutely HATE those movies. This one is somehow worse. Mainly due to the fact that it takes a more darker tone which is something that doesn't work well with Spider- Man's character. Spider-Man's character is witty and cheesy and this Spider-Man still has that wit but there's not enough of it. The entire movie is just this really gritty and dark setting which works in some places but it isn't the Spider-Man we know and love so much. You know what I really want? A Spider-Man movie that is actually good. Because we haven't had one in 15 years. I do not recommend this. Watch a good Marvel movie or the first Spider-Man.

Logan (2017)

The best Marvel movie BY FAR.

I'll just say this now; I'm not an X-Men fan. I watched the first movie as well as Days of Future Past and that's it. Mainly because I was busy watching a lot of other things and also because I had other...important things to do in the shadows of the night. But my GOD! Logan is perfect! Absolutely perfect! And it's a satisfying conclusion to the X-Men series. And I love the fact that it has an R rating. If it wasn't for Deadpool's success then we wouldn't have this the way that it is. It was incredibly violent and extremely dark for a Marvel movie. And it is AWESOME! The plot is solid, the action scenes were great, the acting was amazing, seriously, everything about this film is prefect! Guardians Of The Galaxy may have been my favourite for a while, but now, Logan is kicking Guardians in the nads! Would 100% recommend. Not for the faint of heart though, but you should know that due to the R rating.

Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010)

It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. But that's what's great about it.

The entire movie is utter insanity. It's definitely entertaining and the Video Joker had me laughing a lot. But the entire movie is so god awful that it actually comes across as funny and decent. It was made in Uganda so that's why the camera quality and audio and effects aren't that good, but my god, you can see that they tried really hard and the actors looked like they were having a lot of fun. So I'm happy for them. It's a terrible terrible movie but it just has so much effort put in to it and it has a lot of charm and I was actually near peeing my pants at some points because of how ridiculous it is. I would definitely recommend this movie if you want a fun movie to watch. Don't watch it if you want a quality film, this movie is bad but it's so ridiculous that it comes across as charming and funny.

The Boss Baby (2017)

The movie that shows that Dreamworks are out of ideas.

Dreamworks has been going downhill since Shrek 3, and it hasn't gotten much better either. The only movies I like from them are Shrek 1 and 2 and Dragons 1 and 2. All of the others? Shameless cash grabs with something in it that resembles a plot with the odd laugh her and there. Not to say the other Dreamworks movies don't fail their purpose, hell some of them ARE entertaining, but they are just in general really bad movies. The Boss Baby is one of those movies. Except with this one, I felt more uncomfortable watching it then all of the other Dreamworks movies. It was pretty much worse version of Home from 2015, which REALLY shows that Dreamworks is out of ideas. Not only is Boss Baby a rehash of their film from 2 years ago, it's somehow worse than the original movie. The plot for both of them was really generic, the humour wasn't really appealing. Both movies are absolute train wrecks. This movie only made me laugh once, exactly like Home. The whole movie is just Home but remade. And it's terrible. I would not recommend this movie. It could've been something good if it wasn't a rehash of Home. But it is, and it's worse. 3/10.

The Loud House (2014– )

Good show, not the best.

The best is, and will always be, Invader ZIM. But The Loud House is a good show. One of Nickelodeon's best, in fact. The show is pretty underrated. In fact, it's CRIMINALLY underrated. I suggest you check it out. The amount of great characters in the show adds to it's greatness. I don't have a favourite because I like them all except for Clyde. Clyde is just a nuisance and his crush on Lori is annoying. But this show is good. But ZIM will always be on top.
