Destination Wedding (2018)
I can't stop thinking about this film
Maybe it's because I'm a slightly cynical single person of a similar age to both of them, but the characters in this film have really given me a lot to think about. Beautifully filmed and framed this was a joy to watch, listen to and ponder upon.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Fantastic finale
Genuinely don't understand the negative reviews. It was the perfect way to end the story in my opinion. I had tears, I laughed, it was wonderful
Modern Family: Red Alert (2019)
Snoozefest
It's not just Phil who kept falling asleep through this episode. It pains me that this show, once so funny, is now barely able to crack a smile on my face. Some of the acting is atrocious and it feels like the writers have completely lost their way. Such a shame.
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
Spending time with the ones we love
Through the books and the tv programme, these characters have been in my life for years. I'm aware that a lot of them will die over the coming episodes and the time we got to spend with them in this one was just perfect. I think anyone who was frustrated by this episode must be just along for the GoT hype and hasn't actually invested in the characters we have grown attached to over many years. My favourite moments were the Theon and Sansa reunion and when Brienne became a Knight. Both scenes actually had very few words but the emotion portrayed had me in tears. Kudos to the actors, they have taken us on such a journey with these characters and I am not ready to lose any of them at any point soon!
Life of the Party (2018)
Not for me
Annoying characters, wooden acting, genuinely unfunny. Not for me.
Modern Family: Putting Down Roots (2018)
Dede still having an impact
I thought Dede was a great character and yet again she makes us smile from beyond the grave. I loved all the stories in this episode, it's the strongest one in a while.
