Cosmos: Possible Worlds (2020)
The Show Everyone Should Watch Once
I don't even know where to begin about this show, numerous times throughout intoxication and the yearning for knowledge paired with understanding has driven this show to become one of my most watched shows. Deeply philosophical while instigating the foundations for passionate scientific literacy, the continuation of Carl Sagan's legacy through Neil DeGrasse Tyson is almost perfectly executed, the understanding of who we are and how connected to the universe and the world around us is deeply profound and scratches the very human itch for curiosity. I do have specific aspects I don't entirely agree with, but the appeal for broader audiences is understandable. Along with combining the knowledge of science with spirituality on our understanding the universe and the fabric of reality. I certainly recommend this to just about anyone who enjoys scientific entertainment with deeply existential implications intrinsic to the human condition.
Bushworld Adventures (2018)
Adult Swim Fever Dream
In retrospect this has been a fond fever dream remembering this short, it feels very fitting for a property like Rick and Morty to have a weird adaptability with artist interpretation, and knowing plenty of Australian people their depiction of Australia is pretty much exactly what their culture is like, watching this still has me crying from laughter from the absurdity that this exists definitely worth the little over 10 minute watch.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
The Culmination of Consumerism
The rise of skywalker is the worst Star Wars movie made yet. This movie lives for trying to pander to every one and force down our throats the contrived fan fiction that is this movie. The pacing is terrible, it tries to please every viewer, has one slightly earned character moment, it's riddled with plots holes, and doesn't know what it wants to do. It is very clear that Disney has given Star Wars the metaphorical shaft in order to only sell a product and merchandise. Please god can Disney stop desecrating star wars for every penny it can get.
