Please writers...stop insulting women by creating scripts that require them to act like they are 2 yr olds. Have deleted too many Hallmark movies that feature women behaving like less than intelligent human beings...which fits in with the laughs you sometimes get when you say you watch Hallmark movies. The plot lacked any believable logic. Could only stand a half hour of this. Scenery was beautiful but could not save this show or entice me to continue watching. So if Hallmark wants to appeal to a larger audience, require your writers to present adults as adults and create realistic plots. Thankfully, many Hallmark movies meet this criteria.

I loved the script. This movie did make sense. Realty was that ex husband was not trustworthy or genuine. That played out in an alcohol addiction, but had he been honest and real, his wife who said she loved him would have stayed. Being dishonest kills a relationship. The new neighbor was a singer...not a guaranteed income, but she was looking for a stable honest relationship which this new neighbor supplied. This crooner loved her and he would have worked in any capacity in any job to to fulfill his obligation to her. Well done Hallmark.

Ignore negative badmouthing. The acting was great! The story probably wouldn't happen as often as we wish it would, but it was entertaining. Daughter's character was annoying, although not unlike many within everyone's family. I rank myself as one of many that want more diversity in entertainment. My ancestry is primarily Scottish and Irish and applaud Hallmark for providing this movie.

Kudos to Hallmark for showing life as "real". Actually, like the fact that most of their movies are gentle and predictable. This movie about family honors the truth that family has everything thing to do with love and not genetic duplication. How acknowledging our humanity became "political" is beyond any logic I can understand...
Great Shows Never Last

Just found out "God Friended Me" was canceled. Our family loved it. Many times after we discover a morally decent show that has excellent acting, script, and makes you think, we bet it will not last. Yes, thank you writers for giving us a slice of life that isn't filled with violence and indecency. Great not to be fed our lowest human instincts on a daily basis.

Love Hallmark movies. Yes they are predictable...that is what l love about them. They are relaxing in a tension filled world. Refuse to watch bang band shoot "em" up shows with little script or story. My husband and I both hope Hallmark will utilize these two actors in "A Christmas Duet" many times in the future. They were wonderful.

This is a heart felt movie. I loved it. Ignore the technical criticism. Ignore the reference to political overtones. All criticism seemed superficial...perhaps they were fake. It is obviously a kids movie, but as an adult I left with good feelings. Very few movies or television shows do that for me. Children in the theater cheered at the end.

If you love horses or animals in general, you will be appalled by the reckless disregard of the horse's safety. Some have called it...more a "horror" movie than a adventure movie. These negative comments come from animal lovers and horse owners which includes those who own large horse farms. The "adventure" became so disturbing I could not finish it. Yes, the photography was breathtaking, but the seeming narcissistic carelessness of these young men spoiled any value this movie might have had.
