The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022– )

Pretty Good

Pros: So overall I like this show very much, I think people are overly critical of it in a lot of ways and I hope they continue with a second season.

The cons: The CGI is not great, especially some of those scenic shots. I have an LG CX 77" and I can wholeheartedly say there are times when i feel like I've played video games with better cgi.

My major annoyance is I can't for the love of God understand why or how this was the most expensive show ever made.

For being the most expensive show ever made I expected more episodes or better cgi.

Hopefully they do better next season. I'm only on episode 6 but I feel confident not much is gonna change for me in three episodes.

Resident Evil (2022)

Another disappointing Resident Evil

I'm not even halfway through the first episode and the amount of ridiculous stupidity I've encountered is amazing.

Tv Series and movies like this seriously make me question how these directors ever landed their job.

I have always been one of the biggest fans of Resident Evil ever since the first game released on PlayStation and even the first movie was not bad.

This is a travesty. I'm giving it a generous 3 because the camera crew did good.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Not your typical Superhero movie

Honestly I love what Raimi did with this. He wasn't afraid to go a different direction with this movie adding in the horror elements from his roots of the evil dead.

I love this more than any other super hero series. It's so much more realistic and exciting.

I love Raimi, I love this movie and I think he is so talented.

It's very evident when studios allow him to do what he does at without micro managing him.

If you like light and fluffy hero movies that are unrealistic in every way, with no touch of reality.

This movie makes me feel like it's what things would be like if super powers were real. Fights are bloody and result in deaths.

You could tell Raimi went right back to Evil Dead with the possession scene or where she emerges from the mirror world.

This is a masterpiece.

Don Jon (2013)

Great Movie

This is actually a great movie and in normal circumstances I'd give it an 8 but since this is JGL first movie ever I gotta rate this as a dime piece (pun intended).

I'm very impressed, can't wait to see what he puts out next.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

Terrible garbage.

I gave it a 2/10 only for the people doing the camera work. The camera work was not bad, everything else was pure woke cliche Crap.

Starts off with an old racist cop, who seems not too keen on a black guy dating a white girl and two lesbians in the back seat.

They get to the town the Sheriff is watching over and it's completely empty.

This movie wasted no time showing it's true colors.

If you're into films that try too hard to fit a social narrative, look no further.

I don't mind watching films like this if they sprinkle it in a little like Jordan Peele, but they just take it too far too fast with this one.

All of Us Are Dead (2022– )

Good but too many cliche scenarios

This is a great zombie show, the inconsistencies some have complained about between the zombies is explained later as they state the virus is constantly changing and that's why there can be no cure.

My biggest issue with this show is that on multiple occasions they use the typical annoying Hollywood scenarios where some character makes a dumb choice and screws things up for everyone.

Also it's incredibly hard to watch scenarios like the kid on the roof who decided not to help at all when the rescue chopper comes.

Could have been better no doubt, hopefully they'll improve for season 2.

The Wave (2019)

Amazing Movie

This movie is incredible.

Rarely do I find a movie that's fresh and entertaining.

I think it's not nearly as trippy as some of the reviewers have said but it absolutely keeps you guessing the whole time, I never knew what was going to happen next but it all came together very seamlessly.

I am so happy I gave this one a watch.

I went into this one with very low expectations but it was perfect in every way.

I love the ending too, do yourself a favor and go watch this. I'm sure you won't regret it.

The Wheel of Time (2021– )

Great Show!

I really don't understand the bad reviews at all, this is an amazing show.

I like this better than the Witcher.

The girl who is the barkeep in like the 3rd episode was very well-done.

You can tell this show is filled with talent.

I also appreciate that the part where the horse got annihilated they made it animated.

Honestly I just have nothing bad to say at all about this show.

The Suicide Squad (2021)

So much better than the first movie.

I wasn't wrong, this movie is stupid but it's also amazing.

It's an amazing movie worth a watch.

White Chicks (2004)

If you haven't seen this movie you're missing out on a classic and original comedy that ages like a fine wine.

The fact this only has 5 stars is atrocious. It's at least a solid 8 stars or at least 7, but not 5.

Lady and the Tramp (2019)

They changed the couple to being a mixed couple clearly to be more politically correct, does not feel like a natural switch at all especially given the timeframe this movie is based around.

Once again to be more politically correct they changed the Scottish dog to a girl.

Everything Disney is just trying so hard to be politically correct nowadays it's sickening, if they're going to do stuff like this please don't butcher classic movie stories to do it, make some new garbage with a new story.

Everything else about the movie was terrible, the first one was way better and I don't think the first one was great either.

I almost got up and walked out of the theatre like a few other people did.

Amazing

All the cast are great, the characters all have different challenges and flaws to overcome.

My two favorites are definitely Nick and Ronnie.

Ron is just this incredibly intelligent guy who can see the forest for the trees, even though he's surrounded by people who can't see the bigger picture like him.

It's really one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen.

Palmer (2021)

Amazing Movie

From beginning to end this movie was amazing.

Everything felt real, you wanted things to work out in certain ways but just like life things don't always work out the way we plan. But in the end things all work out the way they should.

This movie brought tears to my eyes more than once. Every single person portrayed their characters perfect.

I don't see how this isn't 10/10 for everyone.

Mulan (2020)

If they had named this movie something else then it would have been one or two stars higher, but this is not Mulan.

If you go into this expecting them to have made a live action that is similar to the original, then you will be disappointed.

It's not a terrible movie, but they were banking on calling it Mulan and playing off the original, they are nothing alike.

This show is crazy, the babies really creep me out in the beginning.

It's really weird, I want to look away but I can't.

They somehow keep it fresh, every time I think I'm about to get bored thy throw a surprise pick me up.

It's a pretty amazing show.

I was really looking forward to this show, the first episode was good. The second episode was terrible, and the third episode is even worse.

I don't think I can bring myself to watch another episode. I don't know why HBO thought this was good, this is such crap.

Just a big jumbled mess that makes no sense.

The One and Only Ivan (2020)

I love this show. It's one of the best Netflix Originals. Both seasons are great. Season 1 and 2 are familiar in a lot of ways, but also very different at the same time. I don't know how they're going to top the first two seasons on season 3, but I'm excited to find out if they can do it.

Normal People (2020)

Some frustrating moments, but good.

So this is a great show, there are some moments where I looked at the Main Character guy and seriously hated him and his choices so much I almost stopped watching.

But the mom ends up calling him out for being a complete A**hole, which really helps.

Overall a good show. They slingshot off the bad moments pretty good.

Looking for Alaska (2019)

Frustrating for me to watch.

Ok so this movie is perpetually frustrating.

Some people probably like the story better, I'm not going to give it a bad rating despite how much this show irritates me. Because to the right person this is an excellent movie.

That being said, this movie is very realistic. Almost too realistic. I'm sure a lot of people can relate with it, but it's still frustrating. How is it frustrating?

Well he's constantly chasing This Alaska girl that's obviously no good for him and Treating the other girl who is too good for him like she's second-best to this stupid Alaska girl.

I just wish this main character would wake up and move on from this stupid Alaska queen tease, and terrible girlfriend.

Little Monsters (2019)

The uncle was too stupid.

If it wasn't for the Uncke constantly ruining everything and just being a moron in general I could have really liked this movie.

He was just such an idiot I wanted the Main Character to kill him off for being such a liability.

Anyways they wrote him to be so stupid it's frustrating to watch. I was constantly hoping a zombie would eat him, it was almost unbearable to watch.

Also whoever said this is a family friendly movie is also an idiot. It's bloody, gruesome and uses a lot of foul language I wouldn't consider Family-friendly at all.
