I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006)

"Cyborg" is not just OK...

...But still not as great as JSA. I applaud Chan Wook Park for daring to go in a completely new direction.

I had heard of Rain but Now I see what people are talking about, great great singer and apparently he can act pretty well too.

My only beef with this movie is that I expected to be blown away and instead I was only moved.

As for the ending, I'm not sure if there is some hidden symbolism there? If so, I don't get it. Someone needs to point it out for me. In JSA everything was so clear, but Lady vengeance was very cryptic and I'm not sure if this one is too, or if there's no more to it than initially meets the eye. All in all, I'd say it's still one of the better movies I've seen for a while.

Adam Savage is a comedic genius! Seeing how he acts when he is feeling dizzy in the vomit chair was something I'll never forget. It is perhaps only surpassed by his comment on the piece of pork encased in a cube of ballistics gel! "I can just imagine some people finding this thing and trying to piece together for themselves why it exists!" They have actually gotten drunk on the show at least twice. Adam was of course wonderfully hilarious when they were trying out ways to beat the breathalyser that the cops use when they pull you over! Jamie is alright too but i think he's a bit too serious sometimes. 10/10 for the first season, the second season does have less Adam and Jamie since they have those new "junior mythbusters" so it's not quite as brilliant.
