Paint (2023)
Bad Form
I watched about three minutes of this and decided to search Carl Nagle and found out he did not exist nor that any part of this movie that I will not watch, is a sad and pathetic attempt to capture audiences worthy of Bob Ross's fame. From what I not so deeply researched is that no one has been given the rights to Bob Ross's story, so they simply made one up. This is a travesty to a man who lightened up so many lives. I will say, for posterity's sake that I was not a follower of Bob Ross but I know many who were. To capitalize on a well-known figure to gain profit is not OK in my opinion. Just sad, truly sad, what people will do for money.
Dead to Me (2019)
Too Late
I waited and waited for the third and, apparently, final season. Now I have no clue what is going on. I am currently watching season three and don't want to take the time to recap. This was an awesome show but they took way too much time for season three. After binge-watching so many other shows, I have lost touch with this one. I know others who loved this show but got disappointed in how long the next season was taking to finally be put on the air. It was a good idea but put on simmer for too long. My only thought is that I have to watch the first two seasons again and, really, why would I want to that? I've got an idea who Ben is, but that is about it.
Vacation (2015)
Finally a good guffaw in these trying times!!!
I don't know if all of you guys are getting tired of the bad movies that are being recommended to you on whatever channels you have but I decided to drop two of mine and pick up HBOMAX. I found "Vacation"/ No, not the original, a remake with the Griswold son and HIS family. Having been bored of all the crap I was "recommended" (Am I the only one who watched maybe one horror movie and now that's all that gets recommended?), I started looking at classics like the original "Vacation" for a good laugh. The new one does not disappoint. In fact, I have not laughed so hard in a while. I don't write often on my feed but this had to be said, it was that good especially for my fellow Coloradoans who will appreciate the tiniest but funny little reference to Colorado.
Amy Winehouse: The Final Goodbye (2016)
Who are these people now?
Did any of these people know her for even ten minutes but are riding on the coattails of her death. Is there even on psychologist or psychiatrist on this to explain self harm and addiction? No, it is just random people speculating. I give it a three because I am reading between the lines. But, how unreasonably hateful and selfish to gain from someone's demise. I especially want to see no more of the blond girl. No names or references to knowing this woman are presented. Complete fodder and disrespectful.
Evil: 177 Minutes (2019)
Wow!! Absolurely refuse to watch anymore episodes!!!
This was an absolute insult to our First Responders!!! Hospital administrations may have their own agenda about whose lives matter more but First Responders don't!!! Will never deign to look at this show again and will tell people, far and wide, how much this show sucks. BTW, not a First Responder, doctor, nurse, or otherwise in the medical profession. That is a role for heroes.
Domino (2005)
3 nights and still trying....
I pulled this movie up because it sounded interesting. I was told model become bounty hunter. And well, so no model, but did see Beverly Hills 90210 in this crazy mix, WTF? And it did not get any better from there. No model, no true story, sort of...
The Ninth Gate (1999)
Umm, a litltle confused.
First, that this movie rates so high is striking to me. I am not a book dealer nor a collector, but it seems unimaginable that these rare and collectible books are handled in such a cavalier fashion - no gloves, no containment of the place in which they are produced.. In addition, they don't even look to be the portended 3, 4, or 500 years old. So, looking at this movie, though it seems like a good story, it doesn't look like anyone did their homework.
Dark Night (2016)
40 Minutes and I can't take anymore
The only value of this movie is going to IMDb to read the over the top hilarious comments of what has got to be by far the most boring film I have ever seen. What's worse is that I am a Colorado native and worked at the mall where the shooting took place. You would think I would have a vested interest in seeing it through its entirety but, like everyone else said, I can't get those minutes back. Truly awful and if this is meant to be art-house or artsy, I have completely lost the point.
