The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

Pretty disappointing

I don't even need to explain. You'll fully understand after watching; all of it. I can't even..... I fully understand the matrix and still.... yikes. Even agent smith could have had the same mannerisms as his old self to connect the movies and to neo, but damn, total disconnect. Swing and a huge missed opportunity to satisfy fanfare.

Production is decent, but god awful cheesy directing. This is what the audience should accept??? I'm supposed to say I actually enjoyed it and hold it to the same standard (or lower of c movies) of other good movies??? Let's hold Hollywood to a bit higher standard guys - don't settle, jee-zuss!

Cartoon physics keep you laughing through the entire thing and the story line is a joke. This movie is for kids that have 2 second attention spans. We streamed this online for free; there is no way we would pay to watch this. "Follow the Physics" is actually a line in this movie! HA! Right... Absolute trash.

Loki (2021–2023)

Great actors; interesting story

Marvel is exploring going deeper into magic and chaos; we've known this with Dr. Strange & Wanda. This continues into this chaos and opens the audience up to get ready with the Externals. The actors are really great and I don't think that often; He who remains' actor is awesome! Interesting story and kept me guessing.

Totally left with an elderly male sexual predator vibe. So gross. No depth to villain other than being gross. Bad CGI fight transitions on actors. Underwhelming for Marvel; pretty disappointed. Was really looking forward to this after the winter soldier/falcon series let down.

I tried, but it was just dragged out. My husband stopped watching after 3 episodes while I mustered through. Definitely Disney trying to crank out money, 6 episodes out of something that could have been 90 minutes and decent. Also, why does Falcon pass out when he wings get ripped off??? Doesn't make any sense like a lot of it; just filler and no substance.

Definitely smoke a bowl and don't try to make sense or reason of it. I really thought it was going to be more, but it wasn't. He basically has Asperger disease on cocaine LOL.

And Street Fighter. Good remake for what it is. Had fun with it and enjoyed the fighting. Happy they kept the blood and gore of it!

I get it and this multiverse, but my issue is still that these characters have no depth or relationship to each other. Yes, I'm going to compare it to Avengers because X-men isn't quite the same. In avengers each character has a bond/relationship/depth with at least one other character, but here it's just lacking and feels superficial. A lot of items and ideas resemble Avengers.... I just can't dive into this concept because it doesn't have enough substance and connection. My favorite part was Flash and that's saying a lot; I've NEVER liked Flash....

The Conjuring (2013)

The 7.5 rating is overrated.

It's a decent movie, but was never scary. I'm a pretty jumpy person and it never made me jump or scare me. It always made the sound/music silent before some loud noise; that sucks because you always know before hand. Isn't it supposed to be a surprise? Also, it went from spooky-kinda-believable to sci-fi at the end. Kinda ruined it for me.

Not bad for a spooky movie. Actors were good, written and directed well. Tackled a few stigmatas (life concerns to unpack) with each character. I went in with no expectations and it surprised me that it wasn't a bad watch lol

Click on their name and what it tells you is the account was freshly made and it's their only post. Bought!! Don't waste your time. A lot of missed opportunities for scares and thrills. Really lame. Also, the lead girl is supposed to be believable at 16?! She's 26! I was hoping for some crazy ending, but this was too predictable!

Yikes. So bad. They really could have done something to make it even slightly better...especially in regards to the demon filming.... The cameraman cannot film worth crap until something crawl-y comes out of the closet- then perfect skills. I almost fell asleep.
