In a Violent Nature (2024)
Is this what you want, you sickos?
I felt like this movie was made specifically for me. Just a phoenimenal slow burn filled with beautiful shots of the woods, with the killer emerging out of thin air. One moment, it's a tree line, the next there's a figure. I see a few people complaining about the monologue at the end, but it so perfectly restates the theme of the movie, that nature is this wild place where random horrible acts of violence occur.
The kills in this movie are brutal and SO rude. The audience was a bit chatty through the opening 20 minutes, but after the yoga girl scene, you could hear a pin drop. Always a plus, a couple left with about 30 minutes left after the scene with the sheriff, which was the rudest kill.
The Real Gilligan's Island (2004)
This IS real!
For the last 16 years I thought this show was a horrible fever dream, hanging out on the outskirts of my memories. Damn right I watched every truly terrible episode of a survivor rip off.
The Simpsons: Rome-old and Juli-eh (2007)
Very bad
I just can't get past Abe marrying his daughter in law, then Homer making out with his sister in law to break them up.
