Unexpected, great movie, it grows on you

Warning: Spoilers
I was not expecting to like the movie and did so out of curiosity. For a while, it stayed in my "not favorites" file on my DVR. But as I watched it more, I began to appreciate the subtleties of the movie.

I enjoyed the fact of a black former slave roaming around as a bounty hunter in the mid-1800s. Then the unrequited love for Jamie Foxx & Kerry Washington. Retold by Christoph Waltz in a German fairytale. Very original writing.

My favorite is the very end, when Calvin Candy is taken down by his love of Alexandre Dumas' books. Then at the end... I won't tell that. But very Satisfying.

Samuel L. Jackson did his normal work and played a very odd character. No more details. Very satisfying ending. Glad they had the fire department around for safety in filming this.

Try again, or no please don't

I didn't even make it 10 minutes into the movie. Really, if you're going to do a remake of a story held dear and known by so many, at least get the details right and do it accurately. Bad, just bad.

Your opening montage on the plagues of Egypt was sad. I couldn't make it past that because DreamWorks Prince of Egypt was so much better, despite the fact it was animated. Unless you're a fan of some of the cast, I wouldn't recommend this movie.

Awesome show

What this show has, that this world lacks is an emphasis on on friendship. Yes, magic is mixed in and it can be unrealistic, but don't focus on that. Focus on the friendship aspect. It's so nice to see so much of that and "people" working together and nice things happening for a change.
