It is something fresh for star trek. Very enjoyable, and i have high hopes for the rest of the season.

Fantastic story.

This definitely would be a 10/10 if it didn't have a few major fundamental issues. I LOVE the IT cast, but i was worried that that they were only cast because they were popular, but i was wrong. These actors fit the characters so perfectly.

Lets start out with whet I didn't like. The whole library situation had no consequences. They only grabbed the hard drive for the library camera, while they would definitely see who walked in and out. The ending was fantastic... until the last few seconds. We didn't need that topic to be brought to the surface, since there was enough in the previous episodes to make us wonder about it.

There was lots i liked. I loved how every character had faults. There were some situations where things were just going to turn out bad for everyone. Sydney made mistakes and had consequences, then learned from them. I loved how sexuality was dealt with. It wasn't the main focus, but can be brought up in future seasons. There was realistic fear and taboo surrounding it. Sophia lillis does a fantastic job acting these emotions. The references to "carrie" were awesome and well done. I had captions on when watching this, and the music lined up fantastic with the plot and conversation I especially enjoyed when they played "the killing moon" by echo and the bunnymen at the end.

I will probably rewatch soon and i have extremely high hopes for the future of this show.
