The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue (1998)
I don't know what the fuss is all about
I actually loved The Secret of NIMH 2. I don't know why the rest of you despise it. It had good songs, and I just love Timmy and Jenny as a couple. I want to live with them as my parents. I just love cartoon mouse feet, which is what got me into watching this. And I am very grateful to have watched this movie. I would watch it again if I ever get the chance.
The Woody Woodpecker Show (1999)
Starring the best Winnie Woodpecker
I love this show. It is beautifully coloured. And most importantly, it shows the best appearance and voice of the best Winnie Woodpecker. She's my favourite, as well as Woody. Too bad in this one they are just best friends instead of boyfriend and girlfriend. But I like to think that they are. This version of Winnie should be shown more.
Australia's Funniest Home Video Show (1990)
What a legend of a show
This show used to make my mum laugh. I often watched it myself, though I didn't laugh as well, I enjoyed watching. One time my dad suggested I should put it on but I didn't want to. When I saw recordings on YouTube, I've been laughing my head off myself. It's because of the voice-overs. I hope they do reruns on TV, or even add every episode on 9Now. That would be excellent. What a legend of a show.
Tom and Jerry: The Movie (1992)
I really enjoyed this movie
The title says it all. Even though the character designs aren't that great, same goes with the voices of the title characters, it had heart.
Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Visually stunning but languid adaption
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is visually stunning but it's not a good enough adaptation compared to Disney's version. I saw Tim Burton's version first and loved it so much. It stayed in my mind the whole day. I wanted to watch it again, but I couldn't for some reason and reading the book was not helping either. Then I watched the Disney animated film, and thought that was good. So the next time I watched Tim Burton's one, I didn't have the same feeling as I did the first time I watched it. This film has one of my least favourite Danny Elfman scores.
Conspiracy 365 (2012)
Not what I expected
I'm a much bigger fan of Doctor Who. When I first watched this, this didn't give me the same feeling Doctor Who did. I'm not a fan of the music I heard on this show. I do however recommend this to anyone. It certainly had my younger brother hooked.
The Wiggles Movie (1997)
Still love this movie
A lot of people seem to reckon this is just for kids. I grew up watching this movie. Even as a grown-up, I still think this movie is awesome. It has a well-written script, good songs, and beautiful settings. I recommend this movie to everyone.
Doctor Who (1996)
Not what I expected
I love Doctor Who, classic or revive, but the television movie? I don't think so. I expected it to be like an actual story but instead it feels more like an extended episode. When listening to the high-pitch soundtrack on YouTube, I was excited to see this movie. But instead felt disappointed.
Thumbelina (1994)
It's okay, just needed a few tweaks
Where shall I start off? Oh, yes: a childless mother dreams of having a child. A witch grants her wish ... sorta. A girl the size of a thumb is born and so the woman calls her Thumbelina.
When Thumbelina's mother tell her about fairies, Thumbelina wishes there were such things as fairies. Luckily, one shows up and they fall in love as they go for a ride together, only to be heard and seen by a toad, who eventually kidnaps her. Now Thumbelina has to find her way back home and dodge a beetle and a mole and also find her true love again.
I understand they tried their best to make this movie awesome, but it seems as though only little kids find it entertaining. The movie unfortunately is poorly written, has plot holes and the characters are poorly drawn.
Not to mention that swallow who would've taken Thumbelina by flying to the Valley of the Fairies. But that wouldn't stay true to the original fairy tale. There's the time where she's with the toads and instead of yelling out for help, she sings for the audience. I'm thinking I might make another Thumbelina and make some improvements.
