What Happened to Monday (2017)
I'd give minus if I could
I thought children and dogs never get hurt in movies....anyway, I watch all kinds of stupid movies. As long as it stays within the "entertainment" genre, it's fine. When a stupid idea trying to mark itself smart, it's just funny. But if it uses "deforming and murdering children" to achieve its goal, I sure wouldn't be quiet about it.
So this is a cruel, violent movie based on a stupid context.
If the government doesn't need to equally provide food, education, medical care, pension etc to every citizen, the gov doesn't really need to care how many children each family has. In some of the poor countries, they lack of food, water, school, hospital and a lot of other things, but they still can have a lot of children, their government doesn't control on their population, neither care about whether their babies live 1 month or 30 years.
In this movie, does bureau need to provide their citizens food equally? No. Otherwise there wouldn't be slums nor wealthies. Then if ppl earn different, buy different, resource shared differently, some afford 1 child with 2 salaries, some afford 7 children with 1 salary. How to measure who is eating whose food?
Please, don't let the capitalism amateur writes the communism story...
Btw, when China started the 1-child policy, all citizen didn't earn money as salary. Instead, each family had same amount of rice coupons, egg coupons, meat coupons etc, no matter of which occupation you have. There were families having more than one child, they needed to figure out how to feed the 4th person with only 3 portions resource. And no mention on how poor China was in that period, 3 portions were not even enough for 1 person.
The Karate Kid (2010)
This is a really good material for a mock up movie~
First my question is, where is the "Karate" part? In the entire movie there isn't even a single piece of Karate shown, well..except at the very beginning when the kid was trying to follow the Karate video tape.
I would categorize this movie as a fantasy movie since the whole story is built up by uncountable absurd pieces. If training Kung Fu by picking up jacket isn't ridiculous enough, how about put a bunch of kids in a "street fighting gambling arena"? Furthermore, while the kid is almost being beaten the crap out of him, his mother is turning her back on him first, then later screams excitedly...continuously. I just can't imagine that could be the reactions from a sane mother.
My 3 points are only for the sake of the hard working kids. I think their Kung Fu looked pretty nice, and I believe they were hardworking on a lot of serious trainings rather than "pick up your jacket....hang it...put it on...take it off..." ....duh
Eden Lake (2008)
I've never seen such a horrible story!!!

All the good ones killed by evil teens. Wonder whether this kinda things really happens in that country... Though it somehow brought out the problem strongly, the ending might not be a good idea to promote to the audience. May cause some stupid crew kids (such as in the movie) to start thinking they might end up with no problem at all after doing horrible activities.
Should make a sequel which brought all those bastards to justice.
Yeogo goedam 4: Moksori (2005)
The best horror movie I have ever seen
I uses IMDb a lot to check on movies. But I've never bothered to register and leave any comments. This is my first time leaving a comment for a movie, because I think this movie is worth to recommend to those who is bored of lame Asian horror movies.
Although I'm not very old, but I've seen really a lot of horror movies from many countries. And this one is the best I've ever seen (only personal opinion though).
From the beginning till the end there isn't one disgusting scene or sudden appearing to just visually scare people. From my point of view, i think it's good really, as long as it can still scare me (and it did).
Although a few points in the movie is not very logical (maybe I'm a picky person, I do care logic a lot even when I watch entertaining horror movies), but still i think it's very success as a horror movie with class.
One more thing I still have to mention is the music. It's the best part of the movie, i think. I'm really looking forward to the release of its OST.
