The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)

Should've been released in the early 2000s

A very simple story, which makes it bad.. voice acting nothing much.. music was average there was some nice scenes here and there.. but most events are predictable, writers should come up with something new specially with a high production movie like mario

I also felt the movie was an advertisement to their video games, they should focus more on the characters and add more comedy which we rarely saw (disappointing to not use these comedians in your cast)

Also I think the fans waited so long to watch a mario movie, now nintendo should try a live action movie (but with the right cast and director) not like the old horrendous mario movie I think it would be interesting..

City of God (2002)

It's overrated, the cinematography is unique and intense, but the plot is messy and the dialogues are boring.. many scenes are nonsense and the characters had so much potential.. like why on earth Rocket didn't react when his gf cheated on him.. LIKE NOTHING! And why did Knockout Ned died in a stupid way/ they killed his family ffs, why didn't he avenge them? What's the point of him being in the plot? He saw his family dying and participated with Carrot, and now we have a climax but a stupid kid kills him? THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST ENDINGS IN CINEMA..and Lil Z dies easily like that? We didn't see him suffer, we didn't see him begging for his life.. I don't know.. I think this movie had so much potential but it didn't deliver..

The Lego Movie (2014)

Cliché plot but watchable..

A repetitive story, boring dialogues, awesome song, creative animation and some funny scenes..

hollywood should start working on better stories, the good guy saving the world from the bad guy is overly used..

there was some good moments in this movie but overall.. too many clichés.

And the real world scenes were unnecessary, felt some cringe moments there .

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)

Very Bad Story with Bland Characters

I'm a big fan of Star Wars but this? Is just pure trash, I can't believe they agreed over the screenplay, I'll not blame the actors, maybe they did their best but the story was very chaotic and tedious. I'll not watch the other movies, I don't have faith in J. J. Abrams anymore.

John Wick (2014)

I can't believe the hype

It's an average popcorn action movie, Keanu's movements were slow, the action was not eyepopping.

At the beginning the plot was great then it all went down hill.. I can't believe there's a John Wick quadrilogy!

The acting was just meh.. too many corny and cheesy lines.

People who liked this movie definitely didn't watch great action movies.

Look the animation is good, the fights? Awesome.. but the story is very terrible, the voice acting is more terrible (english and japanese) if you want to waste an hour and half then go for it.

Death Note (2006–2007)

Well it was a good but I had many confused moments, specially after the second half of the series; too many events were unnecessary!

So is it a must-watch? definitely not Is it good? it is.. but keep in mind that many incidents were confusing and not told properly I even noticed many plot holes, nevertheless it was fun to watch.

You'll never find the perfect anime.. many of them will have good and bad episodes; and speaking of Death Note, I expected something more because 37 episode is considered short in the anime world.

My rate will be 7.5/10 Sorry for the die-hard fans, at least I didn't hate it :p

Saving Private Ryan (1998)

I've seen this movie over 3 nights.. you have to realize that you're watching 3 hours with many boring conversations, conversations should be interesting though! but I have to give credit for the combat scenes they were kinda realistic and nice to watch.. it's a decent movie not the best.

The Usual Suspects (1995)

Chaotic story line and..

Bad story build up and we can't know if it's a flashback or present.. Roger Ebert's review on this film sums it up.. even the story isn't interesting! the reason why I gave it 5 stars because there was some few good scenes and the end twist was decent.

Rear Window (1954)

Everything is Illogical, he's suspicious about someone who got knives and saws? really? and his wife isn't there in the apartment; so he's a murderer? and what's more stupid he called his detective friend so he can question him, I can't believe that this dull movie is rated as one of the best films of all time, it was more than boring, the ending was disastrous. / + I was very catched by the trailer and was enthusiastic about this film, but I was wrong unfortunately and I wasted 2 hours from my life.

Seven Samurai (1954)

Overrated

I'm surprised that this film is rated one of the top movies of all time, it's good don't get me wrong but not that good. if you're considering watching it, then buckle up for long boring pointless scenes! it doesn't have artistic cinematography, it doesn't have good music, it doesn't have a villain, it doesn't have outstanding scenes but it does have a decent story and good characters. maybe it was something in the fifties but not these days, Kurusawa is overrated and by the way I watched thousands of movies and I don't see something outstanding in his work. Remember the movie is 3h and 27m It's watchable but not great.
