The Affair: Episode #5.10 (2019)
Incredible episode
Spoiler warning.
During the fire, when trekking through the wilderness, you can see how much Noah and Helen love each other. When she got bitten by the rattlesnake, he carried her for a long time to take care of her.
His emotion when sitting next to her in the hospital room and the way he held her hand, was enough to show you that what was in the past was in the past and they were stronger than just... The Affair.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Save your money and do not bother watching this!
Please save your money and do not watch this movie. There are many negative reviews here.
The jokes are horrible and so childish that children would roll their eyes at it. MJ is a useless character filled with sass and unbecoming of a girl-next-door character.
The original spider man with Tobey was the best version of this story.
Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
Please don't waste your time! Nothing like the Conjuring series.
This movie is filled with cheap jump scares, loud sounds, fog, and toy props.
A complete lack of a coherent story, the main characters are missing for most of the movie (but draw you and your money into the theatre with their names listed as stars of the show; they are not, it is 1 child and 2 girls), and failure to develop pacing.
I am taking the time to write this for you all, so you can save $15-20 a person for this poor excuse for a horror movie.
I now spend time searching for foreign horror movies that have far more talent and skill at developing a haunting tale.
Save money, live better! :P
Mother! (2017)
Worst movie ever
I rarely write reviews for movies but had to make an exception here. This was worse than Rings the remake. The story makes no sense and everything is completely illogical and unrealistic.
Want the 2 hours of my life back.
Spartacus: Blood and Sand: Monsters (2012)
Awesome Episode
I just had to write this review after watching the episode.
SO much happens, that you're just saying what the hell just happened, as you watch! Was literally sitting on my hands during the last 15 minutes.
The story continues on from the last episode (as usual), but takes drastic turns as we go through the show. This often leaves you wondering what will happen next, because I cannot seem to predict who gets hurt or worse.
If you have not seen this yet, you should. Definitely one of the best episodes this season.
Dying Breed (2008)
Great start
The movie started off well, drawing us into the story. Everything goes well, until the first girl is killed. The people split up, when a rational human being would stick together and form a search party.
When the couple goes through the tunnel and he finds a piece of flesh on the way back, he stays quiet, although you probably should tell your companion about what you found.
When all hell breaks loose, the guy goes alone to the abandoned jeep, leaving the girl behind. Also reminds me of when she stays near the cave when one guy goes alone with the crossbow to find her. In real life, you slap the person slightly, just to get them out of the shock.
Cops at the ending, could display just a little more compassion and a bit more vigor at finding out the reason behind this. Also, people go camping to a place that is unexplored, and do not carry a weapon? No handguns, not even a machete. Just a freaking crossbow.
A good movie has people loose their ways of getting away from the situation "naturally". A good movie is the Tunnel for comparison.
The River Murders (2011)
View on a surprisingly good film!
Just saw this movie, and thought I'd write a review. Ironically, this is the first review I've written on IMDb.
The movie was great, but definitely a TV movie. There are a lot of theater movies out there, that suck much, much more, and I would definitely have spent $10-15 to see this in theaters.
The plot is gripping, and draws you in. Although there are some scenes that do feel hollow, the movie has a quick pace, and keeps you guessing. I've seen Ray Liotta in a few movies/shows before, and this is definitely his best acting out of all of them. The movie has suspense enough for you to worry about a character as well.
See this movie, it's truly one of the good films out there.
