Green Book (2018)
One of my favorites
This film is just perfect. the story, the characters, the humor is fantastic. I was so hooked on this film i was never bored. the characters are charming, and spending an entire road trip left me oddly sad it was over. i will definitely buy this, and i recommend it without hesitation to go see. it would be a disservice to not see it.
Body Snatchers (1993)
I went in with the wrong mindset and expectations
I found this film boring and uneventful, due to the wrong expectations and mindset. Seeing the 'parasyte' anime and working of their version of the body snatcher idea made me wonder how this film would approach the story of aliens in plain sight. unfortunately, this mindset ruined the entire movie, waiting for these aliens to do crazy body morphs and bloody kills. this is zombie aliens and they just try to convert other people to aliens. if i went in without the expectations i did most likely would have given me a different rating. Acting is sub par and the alien noodle worms are evil pasta.
Possum (2018)
Scared of spiders?
Man oh man was this film crazy. First off, the atmosphere is intense. It was dark, dreary and creepy. there is a spider that intense to sit through, and if your afraid of them its even worse. i have not hid under a cover to watch a horror film in a long time. Its a very heavy film, and while its part drama part thriller, not out right horror i was on the edge 24/7 and i enjoyed every minute, even if i tried to hide myself.
The Darkness (2016)
not even done with the fim and i hate it
Every character in this film is unlikable. the movie doesn't set up a pemise other than spooky scooby doo rocks, and jumps straight into a "scary" movie about a over reacting daughter and a creepy and slightly annoying boy with autism, although I have no beef with the condition itself, just how the actor is in the film. and all around never will like this film.

Ben 10: Race Against Time (2007)
its no masterpiece
eh, the film was OK. if i saw it back when it was released on TV, when i was younger id prob enjoy it. seeing it through adult eyes its not good.
the worst part about this movie was the acting/dialogue. a plank of wood would give the same if not more emotion. the characters just say things emotionless. there is a scene near the end of the "film" where Gwen is saying how Ben (possessed by eon) is not a bad guy and she likes him yada yada. then when ben is trying to fight the "demon" shes says "oh my gawd, it working, ben can you hear me in the worst way possible. i died laughing at this particular scene. the best actor was the dude plumber reading the paper in the cafe. he had the most enthusiasm in his dialogue.
bens parents were not needed. end of story. the bully kids are just jerks for no reason. bens been gone all summer and every kid hates him. OK, is that how bullying is in real life? last i checked people did it because you were different, not cuz someone went on a road trip and bens bully stayed home.
anyway. the aliens were OK, but pointless. the best one was diamondhead, but every other alien sucked. why no fourarms?
at the end of the day, id rather watch this than "last airbender" this is by no means a great movie, in fact its bad. but it doesn't make me want to tear my brain out. im giving it more grace because it was a made for TV movie. it has a fairly reasonable runtime, and sticks to the source material for what its got.
Henry Danger (2014)
not the quality of the 'classic' nick, but its better than a lot of nicks newer live action sketch shows recently
there are quite a few of these 'live action sketch comedy' shows on nick. drake and josh was one of the best. since then there have been a drop of quality since then. while this show is not on the same quality of drake and josh, icarly, etc. its definitely better than most of these new ones. its premise is at most different. the thurndermans/thundermen, whatever it is, is kinda like the same thing, but i feel isn't as good to this one. it takes a few episodes to like it if you give it a shot. maybe 2 or 3. 1 viewing wont make you go wow.
while not mind blowing or absolutely amazing, it still beats most the other recent nick live shows.
Assassin's Creed (2016)
pleasantly surprised
this movie was pretty good.. i enjoy assassins creed, and in fact, this is possibly the closest video game movie to the source material. it felt like a true assassins creed game/movie tie in. not loosely based like others. the movie has 2 storyteller in the present and past. do not go into this expecting a full assassins creed past time line. its split 50/50 in the two time lines. they intertwine over time and its not jarring. while i can say yes there are some issues, it was very faithful to the name of the game. i would say see it in theaters. don't trust critic reviews! its a good adaption of the game. not just some movie with a brand title slapped on (ehum...doom)
