Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
I don't think I've ever given anything a 10 before now
Not a wasted frame, not a wasted moment. I have never laughed AND cried that much in the same movie. Visually stunning, amazing acting, fantastic fights, and a beautiful message. This movie has it all and I can't wait to see it again.
Love, Death & Robots: The Very Pulse of the Machine (2022)
One of my favorites from the new Volume.
Fantastic art, voice acting, and music. Everyone seems to be looking for hard answers to every part of episode, but that's kinda the point of these stories. The wonder and mystery add to it.
Love, Death & Robots: Three Robots: Exit Strategies (2022)
Not quite as good as the first but...
Amusing shots taken at all sides. Art and voice acting are just as good as the first time, but story wasn't as strong. It's funny to watch certain political parties realize that no creatives side with them.
America: The Motion Picture (2021)
Laughed my @&$ off the whole time
It's not the highest quality thing I've ever seen, but if you grew up with things like Family Guy and like stuff like Archer now, it's a healthy mix of the two. Definitely going to be a yearly 4th of July tradition for me.
Love, Death & Robots (2019)
Volume 2 just as perfect
A trend you'll notice with the first volume is people only give high marks to the "serious" episodes. Volume 2 is every bit as perfect as the first. I can't wait to rewatch it as much as I did before.
Love, Death & Robots: Sucker of Souls (2019)
Great episode
Apparently misunderstood by those who assume "robots" is a prerequisite in LDR.
This episode is certainly not the strongest but in a series with this many absolute bangers this episode is still fantastic. Indiana Jones if he could say the F word. The animation style is gorgeous and the story is a wonderful small addition to the classic vampire genre.
GG Gary.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)
It won't be for everyone
This is a 2hr metaphor with exactly zero dialogue that directly explains plot. But if you pick up on it and this is your kind of genre, get ready.
