Such a Waste of time
6 December 2020
Everything from the storyline to the costumes and makeup was well below par. Even the acting was oddly terrible. If you need a laugh & a nap watch it.

Too Much.... Please Go Away ...
12 October 2020
For the first 6 or 7 seasons I was an avid fan of TWD. There was such a great story line and list of great characters/ actors. Somewhere after season 7 it lost its appeal to me. Other TV shows have done that. I believe in that the producers & networks don't wanna kill the goose who lays the golden eggs. TV shows should go out on a high note. Instead TWD goes away and is back in my face on Netflix. I say " Enough Already" !!! Just go away.

Cage Finally Hits....
8 October 2020
Cage finally hits what I'd call rock bottom acting wise. His narcissism and need to feel like he's a good actor actually make me feel embarrassed for him. This movie like in so many others Cage just tries too hard to bring forth a character, but you still know it's Cage trying to hold onto his uncle , Frances Ford Coppola's coat strings. He changed his name to Cage so viewers would think he was a good actor w/o the famous family name. In my opinion that never worked out for him. He'd probably would have been a better "behind the camers" type guy , instead of a in front of the camera type of guy. With that said I'm sure he's a really nice guy in real life. 😐

Poor Captions.
20 September 2020
I speak English. This movie was made in English it says. That is the only language they offer us with hearing disabilities. I watched the movie with captions on with Netflix . When English was spoken the captions showed up just fine. However when the actors spoke in Italian there were NO captions at all. You'd expect a movie where about 1/2 the dialogue was in a language to have the transition captions built right into the movie for those of us who do not speak Italian. So the bottom line is that the movie was basically understandable in English for about 50% of the movie. I really think this would fall to the editing department. I could be wrong but NO awards for whatever department that fell flat on their faces and failed & spoiled the whole movie for EVERYONE who starred in, or had a hand a hand in making this film, right down to the viewers

Is It Real or Is It Staged ????
15 June 2020
The show starts out with 10 "Contestants" and as each on "Taps Out" it'll eventually will be one left which will be The Winner. The thing is there's so much "Drama" and so much "Action" that I seriously cannot tell if it's a real show or a staged show. All the great contestants are seemingly witty with great camera presence. I'm confused.....

1st Unbelievable Scene
8 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The 1st Unbelievable Scene in my opinion is when James Spader injects himself with a migraine medicine. First of all the needle is way too long. Since Imitrex was the single most used migraine injectable drug on the market in year 2000 the needle was encapsulated in a plastic housing and self injected with the press of a thumb or any finger on the end. For him to receive full or ANY relief in the 2 seconds of time that the director offered was unrealistic at best !! ASK any Imitrex user that has migraines and they'll tell you maybe some relief in an hour... but most likely a 2nd shot or 3rd is needed for the relief shown on Spaders face.

The Life Of A Repo Man Is Always Intense
26 December 2019
A great movie & cast for a Cult movie ! Otto played by Emilio Estevez has a few interesting days after some girlfriend and family & work trouble all blow up in his face at once. While minding his own business a repo man pulls a fast one on him . After seeing the opportunity odd characters zoom in and out of his life. Great punk soundtrack with performances by "The Circle Jerks" ... All of these combined make for a typical trippy low tech 80's B rated movie thats fun to watch. Go for a ride with Repo Man

Survival / Love/ Love Lost / Innocence Lost
25 December 2019
It's hard to imagine this existence. Especially for Americans that have no true idea. Zain Al Rafeea portrays a young Lebanese boy who with his dirt poor but large family work hard and learn hard just to survive. A street smart Zain has the heart of a lion and knows how to operate inside & outside the law for his and his loved ones survival. When his 11 yr old sister that he is protective of is removed the the picture Zains rage grows & is too hard to bare & he leaves home in a place where humanity hangs by a thread everyday. Whilst searching for her, he finds other people , other situations . It is amazing that a modern day Syria/ Lebanon and other like minded area countries exist with such immoral ideas in their everyday lives. The future of these 3rd world genocidic countries rest squarely on the shoulders of such hopeful future leaders made from the same clay that Zain is made. Live Simply so that Others can Simply Live. A decent. To survive on those streets is truly an absolutely stunning feat for a 12 yr old "man" A satisfying watch with an ending that could have been better and at least lied to the viewers for more of a satisfying closure.

The Rider (2017)
9/10
Low in Tech / High in Spirituality
24 December 2019
Brady Jandreau / Brady Blackburn aka "The Rider" of Bucking Broncos plays a role as a rider injured in competition. His injuries are physical , emotional and social as each of his friends, family, neighbors and fans as well as himself all expect and try to influence his future in life as he continues to "heal". It seems his gift of a horse whisperer may or may not be his saving grace. Spiritual Cowboys wasn't what I expected but when you think about it many Cowboys are at times just as Spiritual as their Native American counterparts were back a few hundred years ago. It's a good movie with some hard hitting reality and shows how being true to ones self is the best policy anyone can have regardless of family & peer pressure. 👍 A horse lover movie for sure.

A Great Indy Style Film
24 December 2019
Imogen Poots plays a young , poor, submissive mother who gets influenced by her selfish and abusive boyfriend. He uses her and her son to make a buck regardless of morals. If you don't get this low dialog film it may be that you have not lived or seen people living on the lower edge of society. It's gritty & the relationships are edgey & raw. A good watch.
