Rick and Morty: The Rickshank Rickdemption (2017)
Rick and Morty for 97 more years!
Seemingly out of nowhere, the season three premiere of Rick and Morty landed - on April Fool's Day, no less - perfectly capturing the show's bonkers sensibility. This has been easily one of the most fun, thrilling, exciting, and orgasmic episodes of the whole series with incredible callbacks and a beautiful story line.
The very much awaited show has returned with a bang (many bangs literally), and this episode has been mind-blowing (quite a few times).
No one can wait for more Rick and Morty! (And the Szechuan sauce...McDonalds>>)
Planet Earth II: Jungles (2016)
Beautiful and Shocking.
Never have I in a period of an hour seen something so beautiful, and full of surprises. Things that you didn't know about, happen in this episode, and you can't seem to get enough of it. The cinematography and Sir David's change of tone at times make you feel that you are in fact not watching this on a screen, but are actually on a Jungle Safari with him. That acquitted with Hans Zimmer's and the 'more than real' sound recording, where you can ever hear eyes' of the insects moving, provides you one of the best Natural World experiences of possibly your whole lifetime.
This is not just a TV show, but an enlightening experience. An experience so remarkable, that these episodes might serve as the 'Rosetta Stone' for the future generations, as all these wonderful creatures might become extinct, leaving these clips alone serving in their memory.
Movies/Films can't get any better than this, and this series is one of the greatest achievements in Cinema ever. These episodes should be made compulsory for every Human to watch, and Planet Earth and Planet Earth 2, are easily the most recommended titles on IMDb.
Planet Earth II: Islands (2016)
Yet Another Masterpiece
Sir David and BBC are back at it again with an even better production quality, and a much more 'consuming' experience. "It's like the Planet Earth (2006), but better in many ways!" Hans Zimmer's soundtrack also takes it to a whole other level, and even though you are looking at the beautiful Planet Earth, the experience seems out of this world. It's all beautiful, but there is nearly always one standout O-M-G did-you-see? scene in these Attenborough shows. The base- jumping goslings in Life Story a while back, for example. In this, it happens on the island of Fernandina. A marine iguana hatchling emerges from the sand and sets off on the journey to join the adults at the edge of the sea. Oh no, this kind of journey scares me. What's it going to be? From the side of the frame, something else appears, and keeps on appearing
snake! Then another, and another – racer snakes, and it soon becomes apparent how they got their name. These snakes are fast, and hungry, and they want baby iguana for breakfast. Overall, it's easily one of the best, if not THE BEST TV Show ever to have been produced, and everybody seems to love it, because it is impossible not to.
