Game Shakers (2015)
Pandering
Another one of those "ooh yeah kids will like that" shows.
Being in the demographic of kids they're aiming the shows towards(6 - 12), I can confirm that this is just trying way too hard. Nickelodeon has released mind-boggling trite before, have a look at the Thundermans and School of Rock. But this? This has reached a new level of low.
Lets start off with the characters.
Babe, is pretty much Carly(from, well, iCarly), but younger, more obnoxious and pretty much worst in every aspect.
Kenzie is just the "nerd" stereotype. She wears glasses and does that unfunny "9 questions" joke that just kills me inside. Not to mention, she is extremely ANNOYING and no "nerd" does the crap she does. How do I know? Because I'm pretty much a nerd myself, and let me just say, being a nerd does not mean wearing glasses and being, whatever shes doing.
Hudson is a moron. That's all you need to know. He's an unfunny moron too. And introducing the token black characters! Triple G and Double G. What the actual hell are these names? Basically they were introduced because Double G's(who is a rapper(and a bad one too)) song was used in Babe and Kenzie's game(a doodle jump/flappy bird rip-off) and are trying to sue them(Kenzie is an idiot and not all smart since she doesn't have knowledge of copyright). If I could describe these two in one word, it would be obnoxious.
The humor is awful. Explosions, unfunny punchlines, using Hudson as a joke dispenser and being "OH YEAH SO FUNNY AND RANDEM XDDDD" doesn't translate to comedy. It means that you should fire your comedy writers.
I could go on, but after watching about two episodes and stopping after that, means that you have utterly FAILED at captivating my attention. But the worst part is Dan. Releasing Drake & Josh, iCarly and more, I expected something better from him. But when Sam & Cat aired, I realized that this network has officially lost it in the sitcom department. At least Harvey Beaks, The Loud House, and Spongebob are still things. But then again, we also have Alvin and the Chimpmunks.
Good job Nickelodeon. If there's one thing I can count on you to be, its to be extremely pandering.
Mighty Magiswords (2015)
Meh.
This show has its ups and downs, but it's just... meh.
The reason in why I'm so in between about this show is that the the setting and premise good, the animation, but the pacing is too fast, the voice acting is horrible and some plots and and jokes just don't make any sense.
This shows' ups and downs blend into a strange genre of meh. It's not bad, but not good either. Maybe it's because of extraordinary animation, or fast pacing, but I'm not really into this show. It has managed to get a few chuckles out of me, but not a lot.
Eh, I guess this is better then the inexcusable, unbearable, unbelievable cringeworthy crap that is PPG Reboot and Teen Titans Go, but unfortunately not enough to save CN from its' decline in quality and creativity. Hopefully Twelve Forever is greenlit or the Ben 10 reboot isn't as bad as nostalgia-blinded critics say it is.

Cars 2 (2011)
Pixar = Dreamworks
Dreamworks has this habit of releasing a good movie, then a below-mediocre sequel.
Congratulations Pixar, you're becoming like Dreamworks.
Pixar USED to release original content, 7 original movies in a row is absolutely impressive, and all 7 of these movies entertained me throughout the runtime. Pixar was pratically a GOD in the animation department, and have earned MORE than 20 Oscars.
So, why is Cars 2 a blunder? I mean, Toy Story 2 wasn't that bad really.
Because McQueen to be honest, doesn't really feel like the main character anymore, now it's that redneck truck, and this spy car who I haven't bothered to remember his name, because these are just boring subplots that doesn't feel like it has to be there for any reason. Hell, there's no reason this movie should exist! Why make a sequel of a "meh" movie?
Oh yeah, BECAUSE OF MERCHANDISE.
This is humiliating Pixar, I thought you wanted to make original movies, not make bank of a crappy film.
All the other side characters feel like they were pushed to the side, as McQueen and Redneck have the spotlight.
I can't complain about the animation though. Every Pixar movie excels in its animation, and it always looks stunning.
Alas, the crappy plot and characters are just too noticeable for it to be "just a small error".
So, Pixar, heres to your first blunder, you sell outs.
Supernoobs (2015)
Bland and Uninspired
When Scott fellows announced he was making a new TV show for CN, I was hoping that it'd be A LOT better than Johnny Test.
Hoping and the reality and different unfortunately.
Supernoobs is about four middle schoolers that are contacted by two aliens and are given battle balls to "protect the universe" or some crap like that. Might appeal to someone other then the shattered emo that I am, so I watched a few episodes, A Noob Hope, Noob Kids On The Block, and Let It Noob, Let It Noob, Let It Noob! looking through the perspective of a 5th grader. First thing I noticed is that all the episode names have noob in the title. And I know that a 5th Grader with see that that would be a shameless attempt to be "hip" or "edgy". And that's something I see in all of these episodes. Unoriginal and bland plots that have been done to death. All the jokes are unfunny, a lot are predictable as well as the plots, especially in Let It Noob, Let It Noob, Let It Noob!(I seriously can't get over the shoehorning in the titles)
And don't even get me started on the characters. They are all stereotypes. Tyler is the "normal kid", Shope is the "nerd girl", Kevin is the "cool kid", and Roach is the "weird kid". And the traits. So damn annoying, bland, and whiny, character traits that would never work. And the aliens, why did one have a Arnold Schwarzenegger accent? Hurr de hurr, it's funny, that's probably why.
The voice acting is terrible, Kevin and Roach by far have the worst voices I've ever heard of. It's like medieval torture. Kevin sounds like he has a stick up his nose and snorting, and Roach is pretty self-explanatory.
And finally, the animation. I hoping that the animation wouldn't be stilled, like Johnny Test. God golly, like I said, hoping and reality are different. It's fast-paced, but stilled. I think they're actually trying to be bad, because how the hell does that work?
Animation: 4/10 Plot: 3/10 Voice Acting: 2/10 Overall: 3/10
Please end my life now.
