Kannad Gothilla (2019)

Problematic Movie

Movie treats outsiders as evil person, which is gross generalization, is every kannanda speaking person a good human being, is there no crime in karnataka?

Local folks in bengaluru charges very amount of rent from outsiders which was unheard of earlier, cab, multiplex, shop keepers, pubs, resturants earn huge money caz of outsiders , it is shame that some of them choose to abuse them. They forget that it is corrupt politicians who give permission to construct building on lakes and gross mismanagement.

I wish makers taken a balanced approach but this ends up like a propaganda movie.

Raw Deal (1986)

Action movie which lacks excitement or any flavor

A very plain movie without much of the flavor or thrills.

Music is generic, most of action does not have thrills, may be they wanted to quickly get out the movie. Inconsistent tone as well.

It is kind of movie which you dont mind seeing on lazy afternoon or rainy day. But nothing special about the movie.

A movie with decent budget, let down by poor execution. It would have been much better in the hands of better director, editor and soundtrack.

Ron silver is reliable and gives credibility.

Jeff is good, give it a shot.

It is well made film, with good production values.

Good villain, likeable and capable hero in Dave B.

Well made, entertaining R rated action scene. It is inspired by Sudden Death and does not break new ground but that is all right, not every movie need to break new ground.

I didn't like yellow palate, they should filmed in glossy clear palate like action movies of the 90s so action would have looked much better

Sniper: Ultimate Kill (2017)

A solid movie for low budget

Did not expected to enjoy this movie.

Good acting by Chad, Janay, billy Zane, and Tom and antagonist sniper.

Good production values for a DTV movie, couple of good action scenes with sniper tension.

Overall nice watch.

Love is selfish

Movie was going fine, till they reveal its love story of a same person. As kid his love costed life of his father. Now thats a huge price to pay for stupid school crush. Love makes people do stupid things.

Overall, very natural set up, kudos to makers of the film. But for me 2/10 as i do not connect with message of the movie. that act of a kid is unpardonable and he never regrets it in later life, for him his love supreme.

This one has fantastic gun fight, hard hitting with good BGM. it has to be in top 10 list. Overall movie is good watch. Give it a shot.

The Hunted (2003)

Very underrrated

Realistic action, good performance by Tommy Lee and decent by bel doro.

There are many small nuances director and writer kept which is good. Like FBI agent explaining in one dialog why particular crime scene is FBI's jurisdiction.

Not like most of the movies, where they do not care about logic much.

If you just want action then you will be disappointed as this movie is heavy on drama, thrill and less on action. And most of the action is handcombat.

Director did put some thought in direction and tommy lee must have thought how to play that character. Decent screenplay, nothing great. Tommy lee plays extension of a role he played on The Fugutive or US Marshalls.

Negative - Drags in parts.

Overall 7.5/10. Give it a shot on lazy rainy day and you might not be disappointed.

Peppermint (2018)

Packs a Punch.

Decent screenplay and direction.

No stupid jump cuts or horrible shaky cam.

Couple of good emotional scene, You want Riley to take her revenge.

BGM can be much better. And movie drags in parts. I wish director and writer kept the pace faster.

Good performance by Jennifer garner, supporting cast does not much to do. The guy who played her husband is good.

Overall i recommend this movie.

The Tournament (2009)

This movie is a classic, if you compare it to straight to DVD junk we get now a days.

Good direction, good hand to hand combat scene. Good cinematography, does not look like that if was filmed on mobile or poor DSLR like many movie does now a days.

Good acting, Robert, Kelly hu, Ving, and Scott adkins in small role.

Scoot mann also directed recently released FINAL SCORE and i also enjoyed this movie.(this movie is better than that), But it shows the scott is competent director and given enough budget and good script he can do good job.

Give it a shot and you will not be disappointed.

I wish story had more humor and glamour.

The Equalizer 2 (2018)

IT'S A DRAMA. NOT AN ACTION movie.

Boring movie made watchable by Danzel. I do not understand the point of making this movie. It was supposed to be thriller, action, but most of the movie is drama and that too boring, very little action. And whatever actions is shown does not leave any impact. extremely forgettable movie.

It seems entire budget was spent of danzel and director remuneration.

There are few scenes which shines because of danzel's performances.

Overall, watch it, on lazy sunday afternoon. even if you don't see it, you are not missing anything.

The Night Comes for Us (2018)

One of the most violent action movies i have ever seen

It seems focus of the director is on the giving shock value to viewers, rather than plotting great action scenes.

There is a lot ( and i means A LOT), but it is gruesome, and very violent.

They are good but i wish director and concerned people should have focused on showing great action moves, thrill rather than just SHOCK and Extreme blood bath

Accident Man (2018)

Solid B movie. Which is better than many A rated movies. A black comedy action movie. There is lot of heart in the movie, you can see every dollar is well spent.

Not big budget but few good action scenes. Adkins has great screen presence, reminds of JCVD. Both Scott and Micheal Jai white deserve so much more, they are fantastic Martial Artiest and good actors. For a small budget movie, it is quite good.

Give this a shot without much of a expectation and you will not be disappointed.

Blitz (2011)

Solid Fun

This is your typical hard crime, no nonsense cop crime story, helped by very good performances all around.

I wish they would have made character of Tom Brant(Statham) little bit more likable. In couple of scenes he come across as total ass**le and you do not like him.

He is the guy you do not want to mess around, Tom brant just does not give dame about anything. Statham is very good in this role.

Aidan Gillen is quite good as main antagonist. All other supporting cast is quite good.

Give it a try.,

Tomb Raider (2018)

Watched without any expectations and enjoyed it.

One good sequence with genuine tension.

Give it a try on rainy day and you will like it.
