Best detective show ever!

I found this show totally by accident - I was looking for something new to watch, and this handsome young man cought my eye :) Shows description was nice too,, so I decided to give it a try. And I completelly fell in love with it from the very begining. What facinates me most - it is obvious how much mork it is put into this show - it is not just another dull detective show, no - the story line is always complex, intriguent, it keeps you on your toes, and make you to twist your mind aswell. Shaun Evans is brilliant actor - the way he represents young Morse, it's ohhh, let just say - I fell in love with them bouth :))

So if you are looking for good, twisted detective story, lovable characers - this show is perfect for you - enjoy! ;)

R.I.P.D. (2013)

Easy and fun

From the trailer it seemed to be another "MIB" kind of film - and it was. Not that it's a bad thing. A bit if mystery and action is always a good combination. If you like that style - this film is for you. 😊 personally i enjoyed it - thou the plot is very simple and a bit predictable, but at the same time it's easy, simple, fast with a lot of action, love, of course, and some unexpected and expected evil twists. 😀 Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon played theyr parts very well. It was fun to watch them in action. I personally love Kevin Bacon - he is a great actor, and this character was so him. Other casts members did great job to. So, all in all, this is the perfect movie to spent an easy evening with.

Taking Chance (2009 TV Movie)

Emotional

I was really amazed by this film - there is no actual action in it but is so emotionally strong! At first sight it looks like documentary but it's actually not. The topic - bringing home dead soldier - is really heart-breaking, involving all of us, thou not everyone of us has direct ties with the military. I was pleased that there was no propaganda, no politics, no religion - just simple truth and reality. And Kevin Bacon played his part so well - to catch and express that thin line between grief, sympathy, doubt and strict military training. No surprise he won golden globe for it.

This film has to be seen by everyone, no matter where they live, what religion or political view they have.

Cop Car (2015)

Another good piece of acting.

I must confess - i chose to watch this movie purely because of Kevin Bacon. He chooses his characters very carefully so i knew this film is going to be good at some point. 😉

The story is about two boys who steel a cop car and a cop (not good one) who tries to retrieve it back. The story simple, only three characters to concentrate on - and very real. Yes, real, because children these days can be that stupid, and cops these days can be that "of the line". What i liked about this film is that it's not over crowded with unnecessary story lines, characters - it has only whats needed. And in a short time they can tell a lot that way. Beautiful nature, as it is, small town's life without any "glamour". And good acting - kids acted very naturally, Kevin Bacon of course was very good as always. I admire his talent to "get into" character he is playing.

I enjoyed this film - don't know why, but at some point it reminded me of "Perfect world" with Kevin Costner, just with less action 😀

Elephant White (2011)

Not bad...

I was curious to see this film because of very different reviews - i love Kevin Bacon as an actor and i could not believe that he would choose to take upon a bad role - thou many here said that this was his worst film ever... So i embraced myself for the worst... And i wasn't disappointed - yes, the film itself is a bit strange and at first it was hard to watch... Thou the key-point of this film is the story the creators want to tell - the dark and hard truth about human trafficking. There is not much glamor in it - a lot of truth is told here - truth we tend to ignore or we just don't think about it... So it's really worth watching. Besides, there is a bit of everything - a bit of action, a bit of fighting and shooting, a bit of friendship and respect... And of course - the mostly discussed topic - Kevin's accent and acting. I think it was brilliant! He nailed it perfectly - because that was the idea - a bit fake, a bit shallow and glamorous at the surface but at the same time - real, loyal and true friend, having his own understanding of the world, values and good vs bad. I am not saying that this film is some miracle - but it's not as bad as a lot of you are saying... Enjoy it!

It's the best TV show i've seen in years!!! Of course, it has it's flaws (but what TV show hasn't?) - but acting compensates everything! Kevin Bacon is excellent - Ryan Hardy is perfect to the smallest details. It's like this character was written specifically for him. And James Purefoy makes fantastic villain... It's fun to watch them in action - their dialogs is like most sophisticated and elegant dance.

This show swallowed me instantly - from the first episode i knew that i will enjoy every moment of it. And i was so disappointed because of all these negative reviews - you really don't know what are you talking about gays... This show has everything to be perfect - action, love, hate, charm, good script and excellent acting!!!
