Miseuteo Shunshain: Episode #1.1 (2018)
A beatuiful and intricate introduction
Mesmerizing and a bit confusing first episode. There are a lot of new characters and story-lines being introduced at once and I finished the episode without being sure of who was who on some cases. The cinematography is extraordinary and the historic setting in the ending of 19 century in Korea (Joseon) is very interesting. But I find the story-telling to be slow at times and overly dramatic. This is something that a western viewer may have to have in consideration when starting to watch a series like this. There are moments in which you may think that you're watching a very well produced soap opera.
Star Trek: Discovery: Project Daedalus (2019)
And now we have to care for Airiam?
I didn't like this episode too much. The scenes between Michael and Spock were overly dramatic and the demise of Airiam felt empty of meaning, considering that is a character that we didn't know anything about. Are we supposed to feel something with her death, to be left mouth-agape like all the characters on the bridge of the ship, for someone who we just really met in this same episode?
