Q (2011)
A nice French movie
Many people like erotic movies. Many people do not like hardcore movies, simply because hardcore movies are not artistic. I am one of these people, and I like this movie.
Another movie that is mimic to this one is another French movie called Baise Moi. However, Q is more artistic and better made than Baise Moi. Not only with better casting, but with better storyline.
The close up shooting in bathroom is impressive, it perfectly demonstrated the beauty of woman. I truly like the director's taste. Those scenes are beautiful and unforgettable.
The story is not complicated but the thought beyond that is very true: a man and a woman, when live together, must be compatible and matched each other both mentally and physically. If it doesn't happen, a true love would not be generated. And the two people will get in trouble if they still stay together.
I would give an 8 out of 10 for this movie.
Breaking Point (1975)
A rare movie that could be remembered for a long time
I have been looking for this flick for a while. I watched it last week and to be honest with you, this is one of the best "porn" films that had ever made with excellent photography, music and a storyline. This movie was made more than 30 years ago but is still discussed today. The reason is very simple: It can't be made like this in nowadays.
It is not as sick as some reviewers said here. In comparison to some of the porn movies made today, BREAKING POINT is obviously a masterpiece.
Bo Arne Vibenius is clearly a genius in movie making. Here are some other names that he also used: Alex Fridolinski, Stan Kowalski (breaking point) Ron Silberman Jr., Bo A. Vibenius, Boarne Vibenius, Bo Vibenius , Bo Wibenius, etc. I do not know why he is no longer directing movies. It is truly a waste of his gift without continuing his directing career.
I will keep this one in my DVD collecting cabinet, together with Bo Vibenius' another flick: One-Eye Thriller.
Question: my copy runs for ~87 minutes (english with danish subtitle) which is nearly 8 minutes shorter than the 95 minutes as specified here at IMDb. Does anyone know why? Thank you!
