The Bad Batch (2016)
if you don't like this movie, you'll love Avengers 17
Really blows me away to see the total lack of appreciation for an original film that makes you think with your head as well as your heart. People nowadays have the same attention span as a gold fish with amnesia. This film is not just visually appealing, it's methodical, thought provoking, compassionate, and chaos coupled with conundrum. It's just not gift wrapped with explosions, action, & played out storyboards. This is not your average American "combo" of cinema. For that reason and that reason only is why it's own rating is suffering. People haven't just missed the mark here, they're completely blind to the target--themselves. If you can't formulate a single reason why this movie is a stand out gem, not only are you unable to think outside the box. You live in it.
Dead in a Week (Or Your Money Back) (2018)
Meh
This movie started of with a BANG! Ended up shooting a blank cartridge. Watchable but quite forgettable.
Burn Burn Burn (2015)
Watch. This. Movie.
A raw & unfiltered perspective about the beauty and mortality that lies within the genuine human condition. Awe-inspiring reflection of our inadequacies in relation to our self-defense mechanisms-all that of which are being hardened, molded, & shaped by time, circumstance, and loss. A heart-wrenching reminder that sometimes only the blind can see.
Sulla mia pelle (2018)
Condolences to the man that died
I wouldn't really call this a movie, this is a reenactment of a man who was beaten to death while in police custody. Tremendously sad, but doesn't make it a film worth watching. Again; no offence whatsoever towards Stefano Cucchi.
Ingrid Goes West (2017)
It shoots it MISSES
Movies like this bother me the most because it didn't start out being absolute dribble, it just decided to become dribble in the last 10 minutes. This person never would have left the psyche ward while WRITING to the individual that they assaulted while being admitted. WASTE. OF. TIME.
I Am Mother (2019)
6.8 is an insult
DONT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS ON THIS ONE. This is one of the most relevant depictions of humanity as a whole as there ever could be. Classic review injustice, this movie is art.
The Rider (2017)
This is a movie about human emotion, there's just horses there also
This movie will not get you on the edge of you seat, or keep you up at night, but if you pay attention. And are searching for a real tale about the harsh realities of life. This is it. The last 20 minutes, I basically had chills the whole time. But that doesn't mean that you will-I love this film-but I know it's for an inherent audience. 10 for me and that's art not argument.
