a strong political thriller that manages to look like those of the 70s
Based on true events, "Argo" chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis—the truth of which was unknown by the public for decades.
The film is based on the ubiquitous and apt directed by Affleck, who with his third work, after the loaded Gone Baby Gone and unequal The Town, collect and process mastery a wealth of material, the introduction of hot situation in Iran and some original images from television broadcasts to the plausibility of the season and the actors, and gives a voice and a role in more than 20 main characters, without losing the tempo and the target.
