Ricky Gervais: SuperNature (2022)
Great comedy, the best laugh I've had for ages.
I laughed so hard it actually hurt. What a complete breath of fresh air. Suck it up all you offended snowflake wokes, this is true comedy genius and nothing is off the table. Great stuff.
Layer Cake (2004)
Breath of fresh air, wonderfully politically incorrect
Breath of fresh air, wonderfully politically incorrect. Loved every minute of it. Pity we have to go back to 2004 just to see a decent film. Some great characters and dialogue.
Cemetery Junction (2010)
Any Brit in their 60s will love this
I love Ricky Gervais, he is a breath of fresh air in what is now a stale, woke world. This film takes me back to the early 1970s when to socialise meant actually interacting with others rather than playing tiktok on your mobile phone. A great funny tragic drama romance. Had me laughing and crying in places. A rare gem.
A House Through Time (2018)
I watched the first one about Liverpool... woke, inaccurate nonsense
The presenter obviously has an agenda, to depict England as a nation that has always been black, whereas it was 99.9% white until post ww2. I watched the first one about Liverpool... woke, inaccurate nonsense.
The Teacher (2022)
Unengaging, depressing rubbish
And it's little wonder the state of UK society with teachers like this in charge of, and influencing vulnerable young minds. Very depressing. Utter drivel, don't waste your time.
Undercover (2019)
Disappointing, shallow, dislikeable characters, poor end
Disappointing, shallow, dislikeable characters, poor ending. Did not build up any empathy, plot all over the place. Watched series 1 and didn't watch any more. A waste of eight hours.
Carousel (1956)
June is bustin' out all over
June is bustin' out all over
The ocean is full of Jacks and Jills,
With the little tail a-swishing'
Ev'ry lady fish is wishin'
That a male would come
And grab 'er by the gills!
One of the greatest dance scenes in history.
No Time to Die (2021)
Overlong, boring and woke
Overlong, boring and woke, the new 007 is an obvious disappointment, being a box-ticker that is unattractive and disengaging. A series of unrelated action sequences, it lacks a storyline. Disappointed.
Poldark (2015)
Singularly the best historic TV series drama that I've seen bar none
Singularly the best historic TV series drama that I've seen bar none. Very accurate to the book, very entertaining. There's very few series or films I can watch again, but I've watched this all twice and loved every minute of it.
Zulu (1964)
Probably the best film ever made, made me cry
I know this film off by heart, it's one of the few films I never tire of. Probably the best film ever made.
Six Minutes to Midnight (2020)
Eddie Izzard? ... come on 🤣
Woke was and rewriting of history against the real British people, disgraceful
The Watch (2020)
Oh dear!
Woke box-ticking, nauseating to the extreme. Predictable, boring
Greenland (2020)
Subversive woke undertones
A bearable film. Of course anyone BAME is seen to be heroic. All a bit prectable... Nothing like as good as the day after tomorrow
Ford v Ferrari (2019)
Singularly the best film I have ever seen
I loved every single minute, it flew by and left me exhilarated. I've watched it three times I love it
Mad Men (2007)
Singularly the best series I have ever seen - must watch
As a kid growing up in the 60s, this was a delight to watch. I've been spoilt now, this is the best TV I have seen
Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2020)
Very poor, not funny at all
Not a patch on the original, I don't think I laughed at all. Very contrived and fake. Low budget, cheap
Backdraft (1991)
Great film I can watch this over and over again
Must've watched it a dozen times, great interaction, screenplay and story. Love it!
Dunkirk (2017)
Straight into my top 10 movies
Wonderfully shot, fast, pacey, creative, great production and well told story. I've watched it three times and there's not many films I'd watch twice.
Greyhound (2020)
So desperately wanted to like this film
Tom Hanks is far too old for this role. Stephen Graham, annoying shortarse Scouser what's he doing trying to play a yank? Aweful acting unless you like Hanks pulling silly rubbery faces. Good CGI and that's about it. Das Boot (original), the Bedford incident and the Cruel Sea ALL far better
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
Very funny, Ferrell and McAdams were excellent
As someone who is married to a Eurovision fanatic, I dread the annual debacle. So this very funny take on Eurovision is a breath of fresh air. Ferrel and McAdams are excellent. Hilarious!
Gangs of London (2020)
Nauseating, boring, depressing
We surely don't need to be watching this, London is, these days a violent cesspit enough. Hell on earth, quite literally. I can't imagine why anyone would want to see this
Code 404 (2020)
Boring BBC sponsored PC actors luvvies
Boring BBC sponsored PC actors luvvies.. yawn!! Same message same bullshlt
The Last of the Mohicans (1992)
Awesome, a film I can watch over and over again
Seen it at least five times over the years, can't understand why the critics pan it. Is it not PC enough?
Great film!
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Very long and boring and pointless
In these days of Tarrantino can't go wrong, all I can say is he only dhd two films... Pulp fiction and deathproof. This is total dross zzzzzzzz
Planet of the Humans (2019)
More indoctrination by the usual globalist elite suspects
It's got Al Gore, Richard Branson and that Bloomberg bloke in it preaching from their ivory towers, tells us a we need to know. As someone else said, there's a reason why this is free to watch
