The Hustle (2019)
Rushed
I honestly quite liked the movie, it had a few 'laugh out loud' moments and wasn't THAT predictable as you would expect from most comedy movies. However the ending was incredibly rushed. If they would have added another half hour to fully develop the ending instead of just doing '1 year later' it would have gotten a way higher score
The Boys (2019)
A pleasant surprise
When i first saw the trailer and all the promotion on IGN and Screenjunkies, i was kinda underwhelmed. I expected it to be some dark slapstick comedy, but instead i found an amazing and compelling show that shows the dark side of superheroes (with ofcourse a few 'laugh out loud' moments) that is not only action packed but also tackles major real-life problems.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Anticlimactic
Amazing visual effects and talented cast and crew wasted on poor writing
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
Silence before the storm
This was quite a good episode in contrast to last week's. The beginning started slow, and had some cringe worthy dialogues, but you can look past that and see that they managed to build up quite the suspence for the final battle.
Sayonara no asa ni yakusoku no hana o kazarô (2018)
A beautifull story about love and family in a world full of myths and fantasies
This movie has such great character developments and emotions that you'll just fall in love with it and tear up when the end credits roll
Troy: Fall of a City (2018)
Not worth the hate
This show has both his ups-and-downs.
For starters I agree that casting a black person for the part of Achilles is ridiculous, they have enough of a multi-cultural cast and if they wanted to add something extra they should've have made the trojan princes asian.
However, this show has a lot of elements worthy of praise. For starters: I love that they included the Golden Apple and Cassandra's visions in the show, it really adds to the story which the Hollywood adaptation didn't. The sacrifice of Iphigenia also made me sit at the end of my chair, because they really created a thrilling atmosphere with this scene.
Major flaws however are the fighting scenes, they are quite rushed and don't contain the actions they should have, except for Achilles' javeline throws which are just epic.
Another flaw, altough it is quite minor, is Priam's moustache, like seriously what's up with that thing, it looks hideous.
Overall the show isn't as horrendous as people claim it to be.
Inhumans (2017)
Why all the hate?
I don't get where all the hate is coming from, for a pilot it was able to fascinate and excite me, the actors portray the characters excellent, it has a deep and underlying plot and the CGI is okay. I am looking forward to the next 6 episodes and hope the next episodes will be just as good or even better as the first two.
