You People (2023)
Jonah Hill's hair
A lot of great people in this movie, with some funny moments. But Jonah Hill's hair???? Who thought it was ok for him to look like that in a film? His hair is so bad that I found it distracting the entire movie. The writing is just ok. Another terrible Netflix movie. I don't understand this need to make content for the sake of content. If my dad wasn't in town, we would probably never have bothered watching. Really, I still need 170 characters for this review? Ok. I love Julia, Eddie, and Jonah. Some of the characters had some great chemistry. All in all Netflix sucks. Trying to think why we still subscribe.
House of Gucci (2021)
Father, son, and House of Gucci
An enjoyable film, although a lot of it is not fact based. They revolve around Patrizia, who in reality was not responsible for a lot of those things (well, other than murder for hire!). Gaga's performance was amazing. Where was Jeremy Irons' accent? Then you had Jared Leto doing Mario. Also, I'm pretty sure there were pastel shades of pink in that scarf . . . Just saying. All in all, a good time.
Bad Trip (2021)
This sh$& is hilarious
If you like Eric Andre, then watch this. Warning: contains some gore and puking. Oh, and other stuff :/
Like a Boss (2020)
Watch the preview
Watch the preview and you'll know whether you'll like the movie or not. It has some fabulous actresses in it, but I think Billy had the best scene in the movie. A great one to watch with your girlfriends.
Blown Away (2019)
People need to get a grip
It is just a TV show! I found it to be very entertaining to watch these amazing artists at work. Everyone is up in arms about the winner, but I think her pieces were more unique. As a frequent museum-goer, I would rather see an exhibit of her work than the other artist's. She really pushed the boundaries and had creative concepts. And anyone saying the craftsman didn't win should take another look at that incredible foot she sculpted.
Always Be My Maybe (2019)
Original and funny
Loved it. The stars are hilarious. Netflix, please do more like this.
Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé (2019)
People are missing the point
Just because she is celebrating her heritage and black culture, does not mean she hates white people . . . This movie shows all the hard work that goes into creating an epic performance. Kudos to everyone involved in its production.
