Get Smart with Money (2022)
Cherry picking edge cases. Not diverse enough.
Leave to Netflix to make even a documentary about money Something about race. "Only 2% of black families own stocks" how is that relevant or helpful at all?
They chosen some very edge cases of financial situations. Am ex-NFL player (2 seasons) who spent all his money? Some lady that was already broke and decided to have 2 kids? A "woman empowerment therapist? That is not the normal and Doens't teach anyone financial freedom. How about interviewing a big city millennial who pays 50% of his income in rent?
Netflix makes it about race with a non diverse cast skew heavy towards African Americans, but of course not going into true poor black neighbourhoods.
Elvis (2022)
Feels like a collage of Tik-Tok Videos
This movies feels like it was made for Gen Z who never heard of Elvis. Like some 20 years old Googled "Elvis Presley" and made a 2 hour to minutes long instagram post/tik tok video. Acting is ok, movie awful. On and FFS why play hip hop on a Elvis movie?!?
The Dropout (2022)
Too band they had to blackwash it
None of the black characters are real. They were either white or Asian male and female replaced by black ones. Otherwise, great show. Not too long and easy to watch.
Peacemaker (2022)
Yet another show destroyed by wokeness
Of the bad acting, middle school fart jokes and a plot straight out a CNN afternoon newscast: it is woke as woke can be. Half of the crew is BIPOC and they make sure to Cather to every single minority in existence just to check the box.
Could not pass the 3rd episode. So bad it looks like a parody of itself.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Cringe as Cringe can be
Truth be told: could not finish more than two episodes. That said the original show was my comfort place: nothing to watch, rainy day, trying to sleep: turn it on. This? This is some aberration from the new woke HBO. It is unwatchable.
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
Saying what everyone is thinking...
...but no one has the balls to say it out loud. GOAT. I hope more entertainers follow his footsteps.
Fatale (2020)
Would rather watch paint dry.
Lack of diversity on the cast and made for TG quality of plot, editing, make-up... everything. Hillary swank must be desperate to pay her bills.
Without Remorse (2021)
The most expensive B-Movie I've ever seen
This movie Doens't do justice to Tom Clancy, the US Navy, the CIA and specially the Navy SEALS. It is not accurate (a female seal officer?), the uniforms are wrong. The story is all over the place. The acting is abysmal (think Steven Seagal circa the 90s) and you can actually see Guy Pierce is kind regretful to even be there.
Technically speaking: the shots are dark. Mostly bad framed and the sound is way too loud.
Finally: does not follow the original story. It was black washed just to meet the current Hollywood woke movement. Stick to the Tom Clancy: Jack Ryan series. Much better.
