If you have problems getting a good night sleep, use this movie without a doubt!

8.3? Are you kidding me? I had to continuously push myself through to watch it till the end of the movie because I kept waiting for it to take a sharp turn from all the slow-boring-serious-emotional drama. The ratings had me completely fooled. The plot: "A lonely writer develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system..." sounds funny to begin with, and I'd be happier if they used this plot to make an outrageously funny movie. I'm happy I chose to watch it in the day, not late evening cause I'd be tired from work and I'd have fallen asleep in minutes. I'm sorry but 2 hours of my time got flushed away.

Gravity (2013)

If you love space, you'll like this movie; If you like this movie, you'll love space.

I usually don't bother writing reviews when there's heaps and heaps of them already but as for this one, I thought it is so deserving and thrill filled, I'm going to thrown one in. First things first, as soon as I read the tag line "In space no one can hear you scream" and half way through the trailer, I wanted to watch this movie right away and I did. I'm not a fan of 3D cause it kinda gives me the headache and I don't usually enjoy them but as soon as Gravity embarked on, I changed my mind and I couldn't believe what I was watching through those glasses. I was in the front row (chose to be) and I can't tell how amazing the view of the earth from the Sky is. The CGI is so admirable and I'm sitting here wondering what they had to do to accomplish the level of realism, and the wonderful sights make you believe it IS shot inspace. So, half the time I was impressed just by the CGI, it was almost an experience in itself. The movie takes you into varied emotions and a bit of chemistry between two lost souls in space; director did a good job with the very very suspenseful story. The movie is also fairly accurate with the laws of physics except for here and there but that's OK, if you're a rocket scientist then you should probably ignore flaws and eat your popcorn, it's a movie to begin with. I don't understand some of the outright negative critiques, well, maybe it's just that they don't enjoy Space or just that they are simply emotionless. I didn't find a single second where I thought it was boring. Go ahead and watch it and see it for yourself.

Extremely Adventurous, plently humorous and Barbaric!
9 February 2012
I typically watch trailers before judging a movie but this was right off the bat and I must say I enjoyed every tiny bit of it. This movie comprises of rock solid adventure, dark raunchy humor and sarcasm all at the same time, pretty intense. I can safely say a lot probably went into the making of the movie; The direction and animation is very very well made. If you loved 'How to train your dragon', most likely, you'll love this too. I watched it with not great e-translated subtitles and it still made me laugh plenty but I wish this movie comes out with an English dub and I'm pretty sure it's going to hit the IMDb top 250, no doubt. (Because of the original danish language, I'm wondering if a lot theaters around the world would show it) I haven't watched a lot of good animated movies targeting on raunchy humor, this one has one too many and that makes it super funny! Yea, you can't take the kids, I don't think it was made for them. All in all, the movie was BARBARIC!

Adam Stifler, the cousin of Steve Stifler, here he goes!
3 December 2006
All the American Pie Series have been great but I somehow don't find this one as good as the other ones. It kind of has a precipitous ending and is less adventuresome.

"Loose Virginity before graduation", falls by this part of American Pie too! Eugene Levy remains the best and of the same nature even to this movie. The main four guys don't seem naughty and fun cranky and that's where you miss the Stifler touch. Like the American Pie:Band Camp, this one too is not a sequel and any American Pie fresher could enjoy it as much as the ones who are American Pie Fans. It's extremely funny for the teenagers and a few older people who would enjoy Rauchy Comedies. People who seek for a nice-story-in-a-movie, not your cup of coffee! Believe me, you would get to watch things that you never did in the other American Pie Series!
