Ragnarok (2020–2023)

Something fresh
4 February 2020
Finally something decent from Netflix. There are some obvious shortcomings with this show, but it's still over all a very nice show. Binge worthy for sure.

These cringey sci-fi/mythology themed shows that Netflix has rolled out before don't compare to this one at all. This has a thought through script, fairly okay character development and good CGI.

I was expecting them to explore some of the characters more but it is what it is. Regardless, it explores the Norse gods in the modern world in a really interesting way that I really haven't seen before. Definitely suggest checking this one out though..

Dracula (2020)
10/10
Excellent
4 January 2020
The balance of fun and horror is excellent in this series. Storytelling is perfect as well, but then again, I wasn't expecting any less from the directors of this fine piece.

It's gory when it has to be and doesn't overdo anything. It also makes Dracula, humane believe it or not, and more real in a way that I've never seen before. He's not depicted as just this evil stereotypical monster.

If you're into fictional series like Penny Dreadful, this is absolutely something that you should check out.

Russell Brand: Re: Birth (2018 TV Special)

A decent experience
5 December 2018
While this will most likely get bombarded with politically biased low ratings, I think that if you're even slightly intrigued by this one, you should check it out. It's full of constant energy (that you don't see in many stand-up shows) and good bits about himself and the hypocrosy of old media.

How It Ends (2018)
5/10
Abrupt ending to an otherwise pretty looking film
13 July 2018
This film had potential and if you're looking to kill time, it's quite alright - a good amount of suspense throughout the film. But like basically every other review here, the film it cuts to the credits without really explaining anything. If you're looking into sci-fi apocalyptic movies and don't care for the plot, this is the right one. If you're looking for movies that have poor character development and a rather cliché ''world is ending run into the danger to save the loved one'' plot, then this is for you.
