Well worth a watch
24 November 2023
You can call it ego, self-centred or whatever you like but there is no denying RWs had a presence, swagger and X factor that so many artists just don't have.

To live that life you need the beans to pull it off. He's made mistakes, and at times, I've found him annoying but the fact still remains, he entertains, has an edginess and realism about him.

This documentary can be interpreted in a number of ways, some good, some bad but it's an insight into what appears to be an honest account and he comes across well.

There is no denying his life has caused him trauma which is a familiar story with fame isn't it. Personally, I enjoyed it and could watch it again.

Outstanding sequel
9 June 2022
You must go and see this at the cinema!

Maverick ticked all the boxes, the cast and crew absolutely nailed it and it's probably the best sequel I've ever seen!

Tom knows his audience and doesn't disappoint! I liked how Maverick reminds the audience of the original, the wait and nostalgia are off the scale here.

From the moment the film starts until the closing credits you are taken on a fast paced journey that gives you a back seat swirling cockpit view which at times, had me clinging onto my seat! Some of the scenes and roar of the engines are worth the price of admission alone!

There maybe some who may say the plot or occasional dialogue are a little 'off the mark', personally, it's everything I wanted it to be, and more!

Maverick sets a very high standard here, and shows how a sequel should be done, taking the viewer to a place that lets us forget, for a couple of hours, all the mayhem in todays world.

Give yourself a break, an easy watch and a truly thrilling ride!

Outstanding

A powerful and realistic drama. Graham and Comer are outstanding, in fact the whole cast are faultless. This story portrays the harrowing realism of some care homes in unprecedented circumstances. A heartbreaking story yet a story that needs to be told.

The only downside is that the ending doesn't quite fit in with the storyline. On saying that, don't let this put you off.
