The Spanish Princess (2019)
Good but too woke
This was a good drama to watch, interesting, great scenery, props, some good acting. It kept me entertained. I was a little saddened by the historical inaccuracies which seems so common in everything today. How easily we alter things to pander to the current woke trends. Henry was too unbelievable as a king, he seemed weak and unable to control the women in his life. It is good if you fancy loosing yourself in long skirts and fancifullness. But don't expect a true account of England's history. The series is based on a novel so you get what you expect.
Into the Forest (2015)
What a pathetic fim
What a pair of idiots. I think this film is a metaphor for how thick people are today. They have no forward planning, take everything for granted and waste what time & resources they have on frivolous activities. The should of been hunting, preserving and prepping for survival from the beginning. Never going anywhere alone or with out a weapon. Killing, foraging & gathering what they can, pigs in abundance! Come on! Repairing & securing their home, but no let's waste our time dancing & arguing. If this film is a representation of woke modern women, then what will society become. I'm a woman, & I'm embarrassed.
Bliss (2021)
Just no
The only thing blissful about this movie is the ending
Utopia (2020)
Surprisingly good
Having seen the original, I went into this thinking it would be another rubbish remake. I was pleasantly surprised to find it actually was really good. Its different from the original, it does its own thing; but it works. John Cusack does a really good job as the 'Bill Gates' type character. I've never seen him play that kind of role before. Enjoyable and given the current situation in the world, rather thought provoking
Dreamkatcher (2020)
What the heck?
Who is the girl on the cover? Who is the girl at the beginning with the axe?? Why is the acting so terrible??? Three credible actors in this that come across like this is the first film theyve ever made and don't quite know how to act? The whole film is so wooden, it's painful to watch.
The Man in the High Castle (2015)
Why end it this way?
What a terrible ending, and why did John Smith have to die? He was the best and strongest character in it. I kind of feel he could of redeemed some of his actions and led the country in some sort of resistance to take back America. What's with the people at the end? The ending was rushed, they've tied to tie up to many things too quickly and ruined the whole thing
The War of the Worlds (2019)
It was good, give it a try
I thought this was quite good. The ending was a bit wet but most programmes usually are these days. Watched all three episodes back to back and barely looked at my phone once. If the ginger bird could stop with the wingey face then for more than 5secs it would of been better, but then again it she is ginger so it's to be expected
Snowpiercer (2013)
Eh?
I can only think that someone must of held a gun to Chris Evans head to get him to do this film. Either that or had some dirt on him. Gave it five stars because it is watchable but if there's something better or you've got a book to read do that instead.
Robin Hood (2018)

Do yourself a favour, turn the TV off and stare at the black, lifeless screen for 2hrs...you'll enjoy it more
