I agree with what someone already posted: they spent so much time developing these complicated characters basically for them to just be like, nah, F it, Nevermind in the finale. I still really enjoyed the series and the idea of it, it just left much to be desired. That's all I can really say about it.

Real original. Couldn't get attached to the characters for some reason. I'm also not sure why I'm so turned off by shows and movies that are set in outer space, but I am. My roommate has God awful taste in shows, so I usually use him as a guide as to whether or not I'll enjoy something. I'm talking really bad taste: like, loves shows on the CW, reality TV and stupid UFO and paranormal moc(k)umentaries (but he's dumb and thinks they're real). Anyway, saw for the most part that this had got a good rating and reviews, but just could not get into it... Randomly, a few days later, he goes "Have you seen The.. Expand? Expanse.. The expanse?" and suddenly, it all made sense.

I'm an avid IMDb user. This is actually my first time writing a review though. I felt inclined after browsing through other's reviews saying how horrible this movie was. It was actually a lot better than I expected. I wasn't in a huge hurry to see it, but I'm happy I watched it. I haven't been a fan of many newer horror movies with the exception of It Follows, but I recommend watching this with an open mind. There's a twist that makes it worth while and I must admit, I didn't see it coming a mile away.
