Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018)

This got to be one of the worst sequels ever made. Everything in it from the story to the directing to the CGI and set designes looks like they were made by a children. This is a Chinese movie you can tell by sidelining Sly and Dave and focusing on the lead with the most broken english accent cheap money can buy.

This movie is so bad it's not even funny. You can't just get you friends over and just turn your brains off. I guarantee you'll be looking at your phone 5mins in.

Don't believe the poster. Sly and Dave are barely in this movie. I really don't know why both of them are in this mess. This is the kind of movie to do to avoiding bankruptcy after too many bad investment and too many failed marriages.

Death on the Nile (2022)

Unnecessary changes

The book is simple. The book is not a long book just short of a 300 pages, so why the unnecessary changes to the characters from the book? It either broke interesting characters or completely removed them. Some characters from the book are combined in a single character in the movie and not for the best. WHY??? These changes completely ruined the smooth structure of the book to "simplify" it for modern audiences I suppose but again, WHY? The book is not that difficult to follow. Another thing that ruined the movie is the horrendous CGI. The CGI looks like a cutscene from a Playstation 3 game. The green screen OMG looks like someone cutout the character from a green screen with his phone and then pasted on a badly drawn background. And lastly the acting. I'm sorry but most of the cast were bad, which is sad because most of them proved their talent in other projects (except Gal Gadot. All she has is a beautiful smile) Skip this movie. If you want a good detective story go read the book. It's not a long story. You'll probably finish the book a day. 3-4 days if english is not your first language. Yes it's that easy to read through and understand it.

Last Night in Soho (2021)

Typical but no typical

You know a movie is good when you don't check your phone the whole time and that's what happened to me with LNIS.

The movie is pretty to look at . "neon signs are pretty" indeed. You never know where it's going. Is it about mental illness? Is it psychological horror? Is it your typical horror movie? Is it a crime mystery? Well it's all of that. Unlike some other people I liked both halves of the movie. Because the movie was always changing and I never got bored because of that. Every act is different which overcomes the "clicheness" of it. And Edgar Write style, talent and the performance of every one is a big plus too.

Renegades (2022)

Where to begin. This movie is so bad. Everything form direction to special effects to audio it's all so so bad.

Lots of pointless shots that are to short to understand anything. Every shot outside looks like someone outlined everything with white line in MS paint.

Everyone sound like his voice was dubbed.

Special effects are horrendous. How can you mess up a muzzle flash or glass shattering?

Acting is awful across the board.

Writing is bad. The script looks like it was written by an amateur who everyone knows is an awful writer but are scared to tell him and break their dream.

And before I go. I want to say something to the woman playing the detective. Leave some Botox for the rest women in the UK.

A Trip to Infinity (2022)

Infinitely boring

Just skip this one and go watch a 10min Youtube video on infinity. Trust me you'll save time and understand better. This documentary is nothing but fancy animations. Anything else is nothing but repeating the same words over and over and over and over. How much can you explain infinity? Once or twice is enough now move on. They split the documentary into chapters but every chapter is another explanation to infinity, without adding anything new. I've seen better Tiktoks on infinity let's just leave it at that.( ). Guess how many spaces are there between the two parentheses? It could be bone or infinite. That's basically what this is. On repeat for an Hour and 20 mins.

The Bad Guys (2022)

Wish there's a half star option

The movie is too good for a 6 but not that good for a 7 wish I could give it a 6.5, because Voice acting is good, characters are lovable and the Art style is really good really unique, however, It's the most generic heist movie ever. There's not a single original thought here. It's just a bunch of tropes that you've seen a million times before, which is a shame because like I said, the characters are cute and so easy to love with an art style to distinguish it from every 3D Animation movie on the market.

Great Animation, great songs, some heartwarming dialogue but where is the story? Where's the third act? What caused whatever happened to the Encanto? Years in development and you finish the movie with reconstruciont!

Boring movie that takes it ridiculous premise too seriously. You can have fun watching IF you watch it from the halfway mark (launch scene).

Other than being boring for 60min the other worst thing is product placement. Yes apparently NASA used Kaspersky antivirus on Apollo11 space shuttle. Every scene on earth is a Lexus product placement. Come on man I know you guys are trying to fund your movie but not like this! You can't have worst product placement than Michael Bay movies you just can't.

Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021 TV Special)

More than a comedy

The GOAT is back at it again with yet another great special. I believe the man can do no wrong when it comes to comedy. Dave's specials are beyond comedy. Every special I learn something from him, he opened my mind to so many things, and made me think in a different way. I love the heart and soul he puts into them, I love the lesson he puts at the end that summarizes the entire special and I love and do freaking LOVE how he triggers every woke person on the planet.

Everything I said goes for all his specials and this one is no exception and a great closer.

I don't know if the GOAT will come back but I'm praying for his return. Dave is one of the last defenders of freedom of speech. FOS can't afford to lose DC.

F9: The Fast Saga (2021)

70% boring

Until the final act nothing really happens. The dynamic between the cast feels as if this was their first time together. Charlize Theron underused as she was a first time actress, she won an Oscar for crying out loud and they put her in a box for most the move, and for God's sake change her haircut.

The villain was boring I don't even remember his name and I wrote this review less than 24hr after I watched the movie.

And don't get me started on that space thing. It wasn't "it's unrealistic" as much as it was super unnecessary. I'm certain they added that scene just as a joke cause they know they'll get their money 10 folds no matter what they do.

Lip sync?

The lip syncing made my ears bleed. Did they ever watched any animated show, EVER?!

Don't know what happens only watched the 1st episode and dropped it. That's how bad the lip sync was.

And the graphics are inconsistent between (good and plastic looking).

Army of the Dead (2021)

Best Snyder film since 300

Positives: Fun Action Really good drama Great twist on the zombie idea Great and unique Characters

Negatives: A lot of the movie is really really blurry and that's a shame because the movie has really good cinematography.

The movie can be too long for some people (2:30)hrs long.

Hunter Hunter (2020)

It should be a CRIME to rate this movie lower than 8. This movie grabbed me like fish on a hook from start to end. It starts simple (a family in the woods scared from a wolf that's hunting in their area) but half way through it goes of in an unexpected way and it ends with a twist that will kick you out of your socks. Please see it.

The problem with this film is no one wanted. I mean Han is an outlaw and a smuggler do you need to give him a stand alone movie? No, but here we are. The movie is just a hiest movie a good one at that, the action is great it looks great and the guy who played Han is good but not great. Also the movie needs a sequal (little spoiler: hans girlfriend in this movie we don't know what happend to her in the end I mean we still don't what happend between this movie and episode 4) it answerd one question but gave two more questions. In the end it's a good hiest movie I'd reqcommend it to a friend.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018)

Where's the ending? Movie was going great, until that ending came. It's not even worthy of being called and ending. An ending is the end of a story line good or bad it's the end, but this it feel like the writeres were doing their work and someone just walked in on them "ok that's a wrap". Other than that the movie was fun great scenery,great scenario,great action when the action happens and great performance from the collector and thanos.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)

Breath taking action movie

With "ghost protocol" they really perfected the MI formula, so with the last 3 MI movies they keep getting better and better. For a generic story of (bad guy with mass destruction sort of a weapon) this one is one if not the best like i said it's cliche but the way the story unfolds (the script) it's amazing woth twist and turns you can't trust anyone either they're wearing a mask or they're double agents , and that really adds tension to the plot. As for the action it's really good -mad max fury road kind of good-. In conclusion you love action movies/spy movies you owe it to yourself to see this film.
