Didn't another Forrester daughter die?
1 January 2006
I've got a question for those fans of B&B. Currently Felicia Forrester has returned and is dying of cancer.

My question is wasn't there another Forrester daughter who died years ago. I seem to recall the story.

Stephanie and Eric had a daughter years before. The girl was born with some serious illness. Stephanie fakes the girl's demise to save the family pain. Then she conceals the girl with a doctor. She spends years paying the bills. It turns out that the girl actually died years before and the doctor had been scamming STephanie.

So why treat Felicia's death as if it is the first Forrester child to die?

Hazel (1961–1966)
Question on casting
27 August 2005
I've got a question about the cast of "Hazel". In the storyline of the show, George and Dorothy Baxter leave the country on business. They cannot take Harold with them, I assume for school; so Harold and Hazel go to live with George's brother and his family.

My question is in reality, why did Don DeFore and Whitney Blake leave the show? Was ther some sort of salary dispute? Did they leave when the show changed networks?

Shirley Booth is a great character actress. Who can forget her memorable performances. She and her husband were involved in "Duffy's Tavern".

Inspired by a true story
19 June 2005
This movie was apparently inspired by a true story but it was dramatized.

In April of 1967, a young boy named Kenny Young was abducted from his family's Beverly Hills, California mansion. His father was a prominent financial executive. Kenny's maternal grandfather founded the company. Kenny was held for a $250,000 ransom.

After several years of investigation, the culprit was discovered. He was an IRS agent. He had an ex-con as an accomplice.

The movie dramatizes the Kenny Young kidnapping. It also pads the story a bit by having a second kidnapping. I guess the other kidnapping was added for drama's seek.

The Red Hand Gang (1977– )
Red Hand Gang
19 June 2005
I remember the final episode of the kidnapped boy stories. Lil" Bill and the kidnapped boy are being held hostage on a boat. They're tied up below deck in their underwear. They are subsequently rescued and the kidnapped boy is carried off in a blanket by his parents.

It's truly a pity that the powers that be have not seen fit to put it out on DVD.

The only wee criticism I have is that either Bill or the kidnapped boy weren't gagged. I guess that was not done for the seek of dialog.

I also recall the first episode of that arc. They first spot a picture of the kidnapped boy in the paper. Then they see him in the window. Not terribly professional kidnappers.
