Walk of Shame (2014)
Come on people, it's a movie.
This is for some of the reviewers saying this movie is unbelievable and/or stupid. It's supposed to be a freakin absurd, comedy. Aren't we supposed to leave believability at home? Aren't we supposed to leave rational thinking at home? The answers are, of course we are. This wasn't put out to be an Oscar contender. This was made to make you laugh. Sure, but isn't that what absurd comedies are supposed to do? We have become so politically correct and everything is getting retro-cancelled, that soon, there won't be anymore comedies anymore. Get a sense of humor. I give it a 6/10.
Jacob's Ladder (2019)
They shouldn't have called it Jacob's Ladder!
I would've called it Jacob's Redemption or something like that. I think it's getting bad reviews because with that title, people go into it and think it would be a straight remake of the original. It's more of a re-imagining of it. While it has elements of the original, it's a different movie. If you go into it like I did with an open mind, it's a fun little trippy experience. I absolutely love the original and hoped that they wouldn't have called it that. But I think it's a decent movie that pays homage to the original.
